Looking for course and ski partner (Northwest Suburbs Milwaukee)

Hi guys,

 

I'm wondering if there are any slalom courses around the milwaukee wi area? I'm north west of milwaukee and would really like to try a real slalom course. Also, I wouldn't mind finding a somewhat serious ski partner to ski with who is in the north west suburbs of milwaukee. I have a wife and two young children who like to go out but I can't usually ski when I only take the family because my daughter is just an infant and mom needs to hold her. So two things, where is my local slalom course? And anyone else looking for a ski partner? I would like to get out at least once during the week for ski sessions. I'm not much of a slalom skier but I'm really trying to get into it and would love to have someone else who can ski and teach me a thing or two. I do have a 2008 Moomba outback Direct Drive! We could split time between our boats or if you don't have a boat but are an avid skier we can work something else out.

There is a group tha has a course south of Oshkosh on the upper Fox River I can hook you up with them.

@teammalibu do you know how far south of oshkosh they are, I live in the oshkosh area and would love to find some people to ski with

Several skiers on Nagawicka Lake portable course (mine.)

Neosho Pond, Sinissippi Lake has a permanent course.

Courses in WI are hard to find since the DNR recently cracked down on any course that doesn't have a recent permit.

@Wiskier It is about 10 minutes by boat south of Butte Des Mortes They launch in Winneconnie. I will be skiing there wed and thur the 1st and 2nd of August

QBit - I can offer myself as a ski partner, but not a slalom course. I'm on Little Muskego and have an 05 MC PS197. I have a buddy that has a portable course that we put on Gages Lake (in Northern Illinois) occassionally.

 

My kids are older than yours, but I can definitely say that my wife does not like driving the boat. I therefore don't get out as much as I would otherwise like.
