Baller Chef23 Posted August 25, 2014 Baller Share Posted August 25, 2014 The Twist Mid was a hit or miss ski. Some people loved it some didn't. I would go with a stock 9960 Mid. You can buy them new on the Goode web site for about 1400 and I am sure you can find one used.
Baller jpattigr Posted August 25, 2014 Baller Share Posted August 25, 2014 I was also looking at these skis, I am 6'5" and about 225, would a 66 Mid or even wide ride work for me? I am currently on a first gen 69" Senate.
Baller ForrestGump Posted August 25, 2014 Baller Share Posted August 25, 2014 Honestly, a 9900 mid is a better ski than the Nano Twist IMO. Goode has brand new 9900 mids for $900 right now.
Baller ThePantsManCan Posted August 25, 2014 Baller Share Posted August 25, 2014 I've got a 9960 Mid Ride. It was Chef23's ski before we did a trade. I'm already on another ski, so I'd be willing to sell it dirt cheap. I had to Re-Do the inserts as they were the Nylon ones that Goode was putting out a couple of years ago. So I've Re-Inserted the ski with Brass Inserts. Its a 228 Amp 66" Left Foot Forward Mid Ride. $250 bucks and its yours!

Baller Stathis Ventouris Posted August 26, 2014 Baller Share Posted August 26, 2014 The Nano Twist Mid was the best ski I had (Goode Skis skied on: 9100, 9200 White, 9500, 9600, 9900SL, Nano Twist Mid, Nano One) I have also tried a 9960 Mid when my Twist broke but I was not thrilled. Iam currently skiing on a borrowed Nano twist Mid and I did a practice PB with 3@38 (34mph). I recommend it, sold for $1290 at Goode's site.
