Baller Olliesk100 Posted May 22, 2016 Baller Share Posted May 22, 2016 I have a reflex warp 2 years old which I love however today the back of the plate which attached bindings to ski snapped and the plate of my animal rear boot buckled. Has anyone had issues with the g10 plate on warp snapping/breaking?
Baller bkreis Posted May 22, 2016 Baller Share Posted May 22, 2016 Really unusual, for the binding plate to buckle I'd be checking the ski structure...as that's intense flex!
Baller Waternut Posted May 22, 2016 Baller Share Posted May 22, 2016 The back bolts on mine are always the ones that loosen up first regardless of what ski I have. Just a guess but if they loosened up too much and you released, the force from the binding slamming into a loose screw is substantially higher than when it's tight. Baller gavski Posted May 22, 2016 Baller Share Posted May 22, 2016 Every G10 plate that i have seen has some buckling...i recently acuired a reflex metal plate as a replacement for the exact same reason - i had cracking around the horseshoe feet...not noticeabel until i removed the horseshoe from the plate... For the diy minded out there....use the G10 plate as a template, and re-drill a standard metal front plate to fit the horseshoe and release mechanism...just need to countersink the holes underneith...
