Skiing with a side of cycling

Hello Ballers,

 

My wife and I are looking for trip to combine skiing and cycling in the middle of March, next year. Ideally, we would like to go somewhere where we can get a couple of sets in the morning and go for a longish ride in the afternoon (or the other way round).

 

I'm thinking maybe Arizona, California, Texas or maybe Florida.

 

Any thoughts or suggestions?

I'm curious as to the responses you get, but it might help to clarify if you are interested in Road or MTB riding...

One of our members at LaPoint Ski Park alternates skiing and mountain biking. He bikes at some location in Ocala and seems to think it is pretty good. I can get you details if you are interested. The road biking in the Clermont area is supposedly pretty good. It’s s hilly part of Central Florida. I know of a 25 +/- mile long paved bike trail also in Clermont. One of my ski friends lives up there and bikes a ton. If you’re skiing with us I can hook you up with him for info on good rides.

Liquid Zone in Northern California, then you have Granite Bay, Auburn, or even Tahoe for any kind of riding.
