Baller pdolas Posted May 18, 2020 Baller Share Posted May 18, 2020 @Horton have you firmed up your view on settings? If yes could you please share? 4xtr users in Greece eagerly await! :)
Baller wawaskr Posted May 23, 2020 Baller Share Posted May 23, 2020 @horton where have you arrived on your settings? Coming off of an XT, to me this ski does not seem to come around as well as the XT, but does seem to go cross course much more efficiently. Baller Stathis Ventouris Posted May 28, 2020 Baller Share Posted May 28, 2020 @Horton when ready to post fin settings please post also front and back binding placement.
Administrators Horton Posted May 29, 2020 Author Administrators Share Posted May 29, 2020 @Stathis Ventouris @wawaskr @pdolas Sorry for the delay. I took a break from this review because my personal skiing was screwed up and I needed to get back to baseline before I can review a ski. One of the things I expect to say in the final review is that this ski is less settings sensitive then any previously reviewed Goode. ( I reserve the right to change my mind about this) I am currently at: .708 slot 6.845 tips 2.487 29 9 Goode ★ HO Syndicate ★ KD Skis ★ MasterCraft ★ PerfSki Radar ★ Reflex ★ S Lines ★ Stokes ★ Baller Video Coaching System Drop a dime in the can
Baller Stathis Ventouris Posted June 1, 2020 Baller Share Posted June 1, 2020 @Horton thanks for posting. If measuring with a slot caliper can you post length with jaws is it at factory?
Administrators Horton Posted June 1, 2020 Author Administrators Share Posted June 1, 2020 @Stathis Ventouris No, I do not own the right tools to do that. Administrators Horton Posted June 2, 2020 Author Administrators Share Posted June 2, 2020 @thager Goode uses a custom caliper for the jaws measurement. Since you asked I have two Mitutoyo calipers (one dial and one digital ) plus a drawer full of cheap calipers. Baller skialex Posted June 2, 2020 Baller Share Posted June 2, 2020 I guess giving dft numbers (slot) confused @Stathis Ventouris one would think that you have a slot caliper too. Anyway I can help Stathis measuring his fin with my Mitutoyo (tips) and then measure and record it with his slot caliper.
Baller Stathis Ventouris Posted June 9, 2020 Baller Share Posted June 9, 2020 @Horton it looks like this review is quite demanding.. I ended up (after 6-7 sets) with something close to alt1 settings but with front boot 3/16 back from factory: 0.710 slot 6.813 (jaws Goode caliper, if interested I can provide tips measurement) 2.483 28 14/16
