The entries are looking great and we have about 30% more than we expected, especially in the junior divisions. Thursday -IM/IW Tricks will move from Thursday to Saturday at 9am -B4T will be moved from Lake 1 to Lake 2 at 7am -B5T will be first on Thursday on Lake 1 and thus all Thursday tricks events will run about 90 minutes earlier than originally scheduled -All jump events on Thursday will be run with 2 boats Due to these changes there may be some events that will not be webcasted from the boat. Volunteers Needed We are excited to produce the first ever webcast of the GOODE nationals next week. In order to provide a professional production we are going to be operating multiple cameras angles and have separate announcers for the webcast. But we need help over the 5 days to make this happen. So, we are asking anyone who is willing to just give us just 90 minutes of their week while at Nationals to help announce or run a camera for trick or jump. Please help by putting your name in any desired time slots available. https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1X2XhtUSEizlJeG4FPvW_4HFsjWMjYLQKxsOONUuRa6I/edit?usp=sharing If you cannot access or edit the document feel free to reply to this email with a desired position day and time and we will fill you in Thank you again for your help and see you next week at Nationals! Baller sheskis7 Posted July 30, 2020 Baller Share Posted July 30, 2020 Weighted MasterCraft in tricks does this mean that both boats will be available with and without weights?
Chad_Scott
Great to hear that the entries are more than expected. Hats off to the Bennett’s crew and @JeffSurdej for planning ahead to make the event a success and planning for a large number of entries. Jay Bennett has been busting his butt to make sure this is a great event. People are ready to ski and it’s great that the nationals is happening in spite of the unusual circumstances going on in the world. @sheskis7 i don’t see you registered for the nationals or the trick event but I’m sure they will have the boats equipped to accommodate the skiers who chose the boat with or without weights
Baller Cooper_Trelawney Posted July 30, 2020 Baller Share Posted July 30, 2020 I thought having a weighted boat for tricks was to get the biggest person you can find and train them to pull pin.

Baller sheskis7 Posted July 30, 2020 Baller Share Posted July 30, 2020 No Chad I'm not skiing do to a shoulder injury, but I do have friends who are tricking behind the MC all with out weights so I was checking for them. That's what friends and ski partners do for each other, plus I am a 3 event reg judge and I do know my rule book. Have a fun Nationals
Baller JeffSurdej Posted July 30, 2020 Author Baller Share Posted July 30, 2020 @sheskis7 1 weighted mastercraft only according to chief driver and chief judge
Baller Broussard Posted July 30, 2020 Baller Share Posted July 30, 2020 @sheskis All MasterCrafts will be weighted in accordance with IWWF/AWSA rules for the trick event. There is no plan to have unweighted trick boats available. “The MasterCraft ProStar was tested and approved for use in the Trick event with the use of an additional ballast / weight system as configured by MasterCraft. The ProStar can be used for Tricks both: 1) with the ballast / weight system; and 2) without the system. IF the boat is used with the ballast/weight system, it must be configured as it was tested and approved.” The wake of the MasterCraft weighted per IWWF/AWSA regulations at Tri-Lakes is the same size (if not smaller) than the wake of an unweighted MasterCraft at a traditional lake.
