Baller Skichiro Posted February 14, 2023 Baller Share Posted February 14, 2023 Greetings, I’m planning a trip in March down to Sarasota Florida. Anyone know of any public or private slalom courses near Lakewood Ranch? We’re looking at getting a place in Lakewood Ranch and just curious on where the nearest skiing would be available if we were to live down there. Thanks! Baller m_pags Posted February 14, 2023 Baller Share Posted February 14, 2023 @skichiro It's about a hour to my lake in Arcadia from Lakewood Ranch. I'll be available March 1st-6th and 16th-26th.
Baller foxriverat Posted February 15, 2023 Baller Share Posted February 15, 2023 @m_pagsTalked to an old friend over the weekend who retired in Cortez and wanted me to come out and visit. Looks like your about 68 miles from there.
Baller TMay Posted February 15, 2023 Baller Share Posted February 15, 2023 Bummer I didn’t think to check for ballers in the area. I’m back visiting St. Pete Beach, would have been great to meet some new skiers and get some pulls in.
Baller MDB1056 Posted February 15, 2023 Baller Share Posted February 15, 2023 Eden Lake is just south of Sarasota. McCormicks is just east of Tampa - not far
Baller MitchellM Posted February 15, 2023 Baller Share Posted February 15, 2023 Sadly, we're in a slalom dead zone. I live just north in Clearwater. Michael McCormick sold his place last year. Not sure what the new owners are doing at this point. We have to drive east out to Ski Fluid with Kyle Eade or a bit further to Jodi Fisher. Both are awesome!
