@djycb Do you live in the U.S? If so, we'd love to send you a Carbon V to demo (just send us your email address). We think you would love it. It's extra forgiving and stable, but advanced enough to help you excel in the course. There's a whole article about it if you want to check that out as well.

Hey @WBLskier. Lot's of great suggestions going on in this forum. We definitely recommend checking out our Carbon V . I'm sure Seth Stisher or Joel Howley will pipe in at some point, but the Carbon V is super forgiving but opens up huge potential to learning and advancing in the course.

Hey @Lobonator! We are obviously a bit biased, but we think the Carbon V would be a really great ski for you to graduate to. Here's why - it's forgiving, maneuverable and responsive. Our own Seth Stisher often says it's the perfect ski for people at max speeds (34 mph) learning to make their way through the course. Check out an article we recently did on all of it's specs

@chris_b There have been really slight changes in rocker and flex over the years. For instance in 2018 we added a carbon tow from the heel of the front boot area to the tip of the ski, for a little extra support on really deep turns.

@ShaunT not all Connelly skis are made in the U.S. (only our high-end GT is made in Washington), but Connelly is the only company making compression molded wakeboards, skis and wake-surfers in the U.S.

Hey @JeremyJames and @escmanaze! Of course we have to recommend our own Connelly Carbon V. But it's not just because we are biased ;) The Carbon V was actually shaped from the Prophecy, which was heralded from the Connelly GT, so the principles are the same as a high end ski, but it's been crafted for intermediate skiers working their way up speeds and rope lengths (aka perfect for 34 mph)

Hey @A_B Deep and short with 7 on the wing would be the way to go, according to Joel Howely.
But if you are longer than 28off just go stock to keep the ski nice and calm.
