2002 196
So she's finally done (well, you're never actually "done"). Stripped off all the old decals (boat is actually a 196 Air), polished the hull and put on new decals. Added Wet Sounds Pro 80s and sub and changed the engine. Replaced the original 2002 5 litre 305 HP PCM Chevy with a 2007 6 litre ZR6. That was a bit more work than expected because we had to add 4" to the engine cover to accommodate the bigger engine. But everything worked out great in the end.

We've got a 2002 SN open bow with a tower (actually called an "Air Nautique 196") and we love it. It's a great family boat. Had the small engine so I replaced it with a 2007 ZR6.

x2 to avoid Magic Eraser. I use L.A. Totally Awesome which you can get at your local dollar store. Dilute as indicated on the bottle and it makes vinyl look like new. Don't let the low price scare you off. Follow with 303 Protectant.

Does anyone know if can you see out to the buoy line with the VR 100 or do you need the 140 to see the whole course?
