I’ve got a deposit down on it, so removed listing. Will post back here if/when something changes.

Yeah, I talked to a guy last night that listed his 99 2 days after me for about 21k. He sold already, not sure what he got. He had fewer hours, so I assume that's the difference. I am starting to get a lot more interest. Kind of wish I didn't lower price, especially because I don't need to sell it.
I've heard $2-$3/mile. I think it used to be around $1/mile. For shipping.
-
Dropped price again. Someone is going to get a heck of a deal.
-
Went ahead and lowered to $14,750. Wasn't getting as much action as expected. These things were close to 20k a few months ago. Certain markets seem to be returning from outer space.

I’ve been told it’s the predecessor to the Excalibur. I chatted with Jody Seal about doing a zero off conversion at one point, he said it should have vortec heads, so that may make it easier. But don’t quote me on that.

Hey ballers,Just listed my '98 SN on Ski-it-again, Let me know if you are interested, or have any questions.

I have a 98, almost same color. I have the apex with almost 1200 hours and am a pretty big fan. I believe it was the “upgraded” motor over the gt-40, so not as popular. But I know a lot of people like the torque curve of the gt-40.
I have heard it is the predecessor to the Excalibur that came out in like 03, as I believe it has vortec heads. At the end of the day it is a Chevy 350 marinized by PCM, so I think it’s a great motor.
Mine is clean, but maybe not that clean with a single axle trailer that has some rust on it. I’d be asking another 5k in this market. Go get that thing.

@SlalomSteve, I’m in Indiana, I have 2 pair sitting in my garage I will never wear again. Dm me if you want to get ahold of them somehow.
-
I remove mine every set, my ski partner pretty much does what you do. I have no clue what is best.

Just saw The Liquid Edge (MC Dealer in Illinois) is matching all donations up to 5k between today and 6/15. If you feel compelled to donate, now might be a good time to see your money go a bit further with the match.

2020 nrg R1, coming from 2018 vapor. Less speed, but more stable, turns are automatic. Enjoyed the first 2 sets on it.

I met him at @theboardingschool a couple years ago. Rode in the boat with him while his boys skied. I basically had a private stand up show for an hour. Him and his boys are some very nice people. My wife and I love the videos.

I’d vote for the 3.5l or 2.7l ecoboost fords. I have a 2.7 and with 400 ft lbs of torque it will pull my ski boat anywhere. If you want a little more oompf get the 3.5. I just filled up 20 mins ago and got 21.8 mpg. Xlt trim package is pretty much all I need, if I had a bunch of cash laying around I’d get a lariat.

Another vote for stoke Evo2. Switched from O’Neil slasher last year. Stokes fits better and gives me more protection.

I think a stock bubble butt in good condition is closer to the 12.5 mark. I’d say closer to 15ish, especially for the right person.

@75Tique we did night slalom last summer for a bachelor party. Was super fun, those buoys come pretty fast though.

I am 30 years old and have been skiing for 3 years. I have a 98 196 and have access to a new prostar and nautique. I make things work on a modest budget, but have still had some unreal experiences because I ski (like Horton said). I have met Freddie, cp, manon, Corey Vaughn, ellie Horton, Bob Marley (comedian). I have phone numbers for t Moye and Rini. Potentially going to ski radar with brooks this year. In what world can a terrible “athlete” have access to this kind of stuff? I feel so blessed to be able to do these things, I am definitely living better than most. We are all extremely lucky to be able to ski and be a part of this sport.

I concur, we put a floating course in this fall that we figured was a little narrow. Not sure how much. I’d guess 9”-12”, but we didn’t run any fantastic scores on it.

Programmer/analyst for a living. Use excel to track everything. Speed, line length, lake, boat, number of sets. One row per day, Best pass of the day is all I track, I generally remember how things went until I got to my hardest pass. Not perfect, but good enough to track trends.

@reg, like I said in my above comment, I have heard the same thing. But, I haven’t been in a newer one. If it’s a good deal on a ‘14 I wouldn’t hesitate. I have probably 50 hours driving a ‘14 prostar and probably 100 behind a ‘11 200. Different, yes. But, I don’t love one over the other.
-
I drive and ski behind a ‘11 200, ‘10 200, and ‘14 pro star. I will pretty much echo most thoughts here. I ski from -22@ 32 to -32@ 34. I like the wake more on the prostar at -22 for both speeds and can’t tell a difference after that. As far as driving, the 200 is pretty dummy proof, but driving a tuned in ps is awesome. The ‘14 prostar is notorious for being a “bad steering” boat compared to the newest ones, but the one I drive is pretty darn solid. I would love to drive a newer one, assuming it would be even better.

Just subscribed on Apple, excited to listen.

LightStream
It would potentially be unsecured with excellent credit.

@mbabiash You aren't comparing the same models (hence the pandas I assume). The 16 is a lithium (highest model of that year I believe) the 17 you are looking at there is the pro-build which does have the PMI core. If you compare 16-17 Lithium they are almost the same. If you compare 18-19 of the same "model" they are largely the same.

He sent me enough to show he was serious via venmo. In this particular case I have decided to make it refundable. He's working on selling his boat, I'm not in any hurry to sell mine. If I needed to sell mine to get another one I'm sure I would have decided to make it non-refundable.
We are both busy this next weekend, and he wanted to get it off the market so we agreed to do that once I received his deposit. If he backs out, maybe I look stupid, but I'll send him his money back and list it in the spring. I try to treat others as I would like to be treated in this scenario, so far it hasn't bit me.
