I have never seen a course on the lake but maybe there is one somewhere. This lake has ALL the crazy so any visible course would be ripped up by non attentive drivers.

I replaced the seals over the weekend. Not sure if they are perfect but they are in place.

Will likely be a while before I can fully test in the water.

@Rednucleus - yes it’s a baggy dry suit. Specially one from barefoot international.

Good idea on the inflatable. Someone else said use a ballon but like the idea I’d something cylindrical vs sphere shaped.

Good news is I have a spare dry suit and a few months to get this repaired as no way will my driver be taking me out anytime soon :)

Have an ankle seal that ripped out on me yesterday so need to replace. Any tips folks have?

Is bare the only seal supplier out there?

Is Aquaseal with Cotol the ‘go to’ adhesive?

Have watched a bunch of videos but not having done it before wanted to ask before I start.

@escmanaze the thing with the crazy prices of boats is it makes ‘all’ boats worth more.

It seems many that have purchased board in 2015 and after can and have sold boats for more than they paid.

Will be curious if rescission sticks around to see if boats are off loaded for steep discounts.

Price will be what market can bear.

$140k for prostar is nuts! Yes I’m fully aware the MC wake boats are $200-300k. Which is just silly!

Public company has do all they can to keep profits up…

Fully agree it’s nuts what boats are selling for now!

Not trying to spam anyone, just thought this might be a ‘deal’ for someone.

If not a deal I fully take those remarks to educate me. I’m not in the market for one of these and likely won’t ever be…

Mastercraft’s XT line is supposed to be a crossover boat. Few years back they had some promo shots of skiing behind an xt21 or xt22.

No direct skiing experience so can’t comment on wake quality.

@Hucklefin I’d debate that the x14/ PS214 is the most family oriented DD out there.

Large wrap around seating where the dog house is almost like an ottoman :)

I will agree that the LXI and others may have better ski wakes. But for a DD I don’t know of any boats with better utility.

I’m 11.5 normal width and use a size large.

It’s tight but not uncomfortable.

There is a small screw at the center that holds the cap on.

The fuel smell on the deck at idle with the FAE will be similar. As the exhaust will still bubble up to where you are at.

Not boat you are asking about but I put a FAE on my x-14 Mastercraft. The in boat noise reduction was dramatic. Before I couldn’t hear the chine spray, now I can.

I lost maybe 2mph on top end which only matters when I try to pull a bare footer.

I can’t tell a difference on the wake… but I’m not that good of a skier :)

94 was pretty amazing! Still miss the wake.

I haven’t skied behind a modern prostar but the wake was hardly noticeable even with my poor technique.

I have original bungie cords. I have the bottom cord set such that I don’t tighten or loosen it at all.

Top I have setup very loose.

I’m a 11.5 in a large so my foot is plenty tight without the cords adding anything.

I thought I had a lock on a super sweet deal C75 but I got scooped. Will keep an eye out.

Maybe there will be a c95 in a year or two and then the c85 will get sold for cheap :)

I’m not a course skier but consider myself an aggressive free skier. I’m currently on an ‘18 vapor pro build 67” . I’m 195lb and ski at 34mph with 15’ off rope.

I’m seeing some pretty amazing prices on c75 on SIA and wondering if it’s worth giving it a try.

I know without the course as a yard stick it doesn’t ‘really’ matter but I like cool stuff too…
