  1. Ive seen jumps that have a rope with buoy's attached to it over the middle of the surface and lock it to the side when not in use
  2. Can you elaborate a little more on what condition the edge is in now? Pictures would help
  3. I am putting together a project, and would appreciate it if anyone had some photos from the 2001 nationals in Arizona on Tempe Town Lake that they could share
  4. @keithh2oskier I was the only one crazy enough to jump on them. I liked those skis but it got to a point where I was gluing the rail back on after every set. Once the carbon fiber on the bottom started to peel, i figured it was time for retirement
  5. Just thought i'd share. This is an old, beat up pair of team jumpers that had known water intrusion issues and a side rail that popped off after every set. When they finally bit the dust, I pulled them apart to see what the nasty salt/alkaline water at our lake did to the core and yes they were washed after every set
  6. Looking for a good used pair. I don't need bindings
  7. I have some stiffy longboards on which the rail is starting to pull away from the ski. So far I've tried gorilla glue and regular epoxy to try and hold it back down. Both peeled immediately upon water exposure. Any suggestions on what glue/technique will work best?
  8. Ended up buying a new one from perfect pass. Thanks though
  9. Looking for a switch that someone wouldn't mind parting with
  10. Our team currently skis at Firebird. Really nasty water that destroys anything you put in it.
  11. Can anybody comment on using large pyramid-type boat moorings?
  12. We have a lake liner so screws are a no-no, and there also are no floating docks on our lake.
  13. [Moving this here from boat talk] Long story short, we've been fighting with our ramp for a while and i'd like some ideas on how to anchor it so it wont move. We have a very unprotected site and have some strong (40mph) crosswinds from time to time. The last anchors we had in place were 4 plastic tubs filled with ~400 pounds of concrete each, on each corner of the jump. Our lake level fluctuates about two feet several times a year and last time we had the jump in place, we think the lake level went up and pulled our anchors out of the mud (we have a deep muddy bottom) and the wind started dragging the jump around the lake. What is the best way to have the jump in a permanent position, while still allowing for lake fluctuations?
