  1. Just thought i'd share. This is an old, beat up pair of team jumpers that had known water intrusion issues and a side rail that popped off after every set. When they finally bit the dust, I pulled them apart to see what the nasty salt/alkaline water at our lake did to the core

and yes they were washed after every set

  2. I have some stiffy longboards on which the rail is starting to pull away from the ski. So far I've tried gorilla glue and regular epoxy to try and hold it back down. Both peeled immediately upon water exposure. Any suggestions on what glue/technique will work best?
  3. [Moving this here from boat talk] Long story short, we've been fighting with our ramp for a while and i'd like some ideas on how to anchor it so it wont move. We have a very unprotected site and have some strong (40mph) crosswinds from time to time. The last anchors we had in place were 4 plastic tubs filled with ~400 pounds of concrete each, on each corner of the jump. Our lake level fluctuates about two feet several times a year and last time we had the jump in place, we think the lake level went up and pulled our anchors out of the mud (we have a deep muddy bottom) and the wind started dragging the jump around the lake. What is the best way to have the jump in a permanent position, while still allowing for lake fluctuations?
