@dave2ball I disagree, I think its exactly what this forum is about! any guesses?? Im gonna say around the. $150 000  mark (plus boat and perks) but I have 0 reference in this..

I’d say 2500-3500 mo plus a demo boat. I’m curious. It’s interesting. Arguably there are more eyes on pro waterskiing than ever…. More events.

  2. I skied an entire summer on a S-Lines X Rope. It was unreal. Scott’s customer service was unreal…. Quality second to none. It’s awesome seeing S-Lines supporting events and skiers as well as event organizers selecting S as their tournament line. 🙌

  3. You can go to almost any dealer and order an optioned down boat. Options are the problem.

For a lot of people a ski boat is a status symbol and luxury item. Nautique, Malibu and MC have positioned themselves to be very profitable in that marketplace. on the flip side of the coin…think basic white f250’s….. dealers order them optioned down and they always sell. It would be cool if there was an industry/club base model(tournament options only) boat. Centurion did not succeed because 1. It wasn’t a top three and 2. The marketing couldn’t compete.

I know a lot of boat owners/skiers that want a new boat but the price is holding them back. I’m one of them.  It’s unfortunate and I think a brand should capitalize on it. There are skiers out there that just want a great pull that meets all certified standards.

Nautique should have done w the old 200 hull. Instead, they muddied the waters with an all new 200.

I know this is all been talked about, but man I don’t understand why it can’t happen. If we are ever fortunate enough to have one of the big three do it for us… God, I hope people support it. I think it could be a great way for Malibu to increase their tournaments presence … Especially with how great people skied at the Malibu open. Let’s give that boat a chance and get people behind it! Where it’s priced right now… It will never be a player. Clubs, schools, tournament organizers and skiers will take the more tournament used option any day.

  4. It’s crazy to see that none of the new up and coming athletes have boat deals. Joel comes to mind…. If he’s so marketable you would think a brand would be all over it.

I think of Joel, Jaimee, Allie, Dane & more…..

    Interesting to me.

  5. What’s up with the twbc webcast making such a big deal in regards to the negatives/ performance of the TXI going into this years Open? What a great way to push a sponsor out of this sport.

I’m not sure if twbc is aligned with a boat company or not…. Tony sure doesn’t seem to like Malibu.

The YouTube pre show posted today with Freddie is awkward. Also the twbc podcasts with Freddy it’s brought up again along with the Cole McCormick episode.

Let’s keep the money in the sport. Love or hate the boat…. Be stoked they support this event, great athletes(interview them!) and produce a quality, high end product. Malibu should be celebrated and thanked for towing at least 3 events on this years pro tour. 🙌

Stoked to tune in tomorrow morning. Hopefully we get Freddy, Robert and a few others behind the mic!!
