IMO, No way to get an electric boat without hydrogen tank.
Use nuclear plant to produce Hydrogen during night (when grid consuption is low to generate hydrogen).
Refill hydrogen is much easier (gas station --> hydrogen station). How can you plus all car with wire when you live in a 15 floor building, and what about power request on electrical grid when everybody plus their car at 8pm....

Funny to see that 39off is possible beheind such an old hull ....
So i have a lot of margin behind my savoie marine (old french copy of ski tique).

Some update of my new vapor.
Great ski !!!
main attribute : low effort for greatest acceleration.
and something i notice, i'm late to reach my handle after my turn (ski is already aim the other side of the wake and i don't already have my 2nd hand on th handle)
so i need to work this !!

@Corne my HO animal don't have laces.
no risk to break laces and no problem to over tighten and get injured .....
but for sure it give an old style to this new binding ....

2 weeks ago,i change from a 2002 Connelly F1 with storker + RTP to a 2018 Vapor Ho annimal + RTP.
2002 Storker L and i switch to 2018 HO animal L 10/11
HO annimal is very confortable just a little tight at the front of my ankle but just need to break'in.

I bought a brand new 2018 Radar vapor last week at a fair price. But my previous ski was a 2002 connelly F1....
My limit is not the ski price it is more:
how many time i ski VS price of new stuff
i would like to ski much much more
:'(

So friday i try my new Vapor
Fin was near long and shallow setting
Ho animal set at the right boot position
My ride was quite strange after 17 years of F1 riding.
Hope to try with right long and shallow setting soon
But the ski feel fast and require no strenght !!!
A big big upgrade.
Just a little bit disapointed by finish quality of my vapor compare to my connelly.

@Horton will you review the 2020 Vapor ?
-
So a great idea !!! can't have a slalom course at my public lake and portable slalom course are time consuming and you need folks to install/uninstall it....
-
I wait my new ski to replace my F1.
2018 Radar Vapor probuild with Ho animal Front + Ho RTP.
:)

@Horton Great !!! well done B)

Did ARC and ARC-S require more strength than my F1 ?
What aspect is easier with "new" ski ?
-
Ok thank for the reply
@Orlando76 : it s not a real ski tique it s a « french copy » from savoie marine but the hull is very very very very similar

Devil not devio, my iphone don t like when i write in english
Sorry for the mistake
-
So devio is inside me
I will switch from my F1 to an ARC or ARC-S
But the quesion is what is the best for me ?
154 lbs 38yo 58km/h (slalom course few pass, best 3@32off beheind a ski tique)
Any advice would be great
-
ok thanks for the reply
so i will work my technique even more
and next year if i go in slalom course often i will probably take a new ski
-
Personally i use 15w40 from any premium brand aviable in France (elf,total,castrol,...) and i add ZZDP additive in oil to prevent camshaft/lifter wear.
But it's for an old Ford 351w without hydraulic roller lifter.
-
I don't have access to a slalom course since few year (best: 5@58km/h 13m = 5@36 mph 32off).
so i ski on open water @55km/h with an old 2002 connelly F1 (and an old 1986 savoie-marine french copy of ski tique).
My question is my ski too old technology to use body position of best slalom champion (new ski technology = new body position like in snow ski straight/parabolic) ?
hope i'm clear
(excuse me for my english)
