  1. Guys,

I've heard experienced high level skiers online talk about, 'Try to ski on the highest end ski you can afford, not to suit ski ability level'.

With only a few years experience myself, I've always thought it's best to ski on a ski to suit ability level.

A little more width and weight on a ski will give you more stability and control if your technique isn't quite up to scratch. Right or Wrong!???

Be great to hear everyone's thought's.

    Thanks in advanced.

  2. @Clydesdale, Thanks for the info. I agree, won't know until you demo a few.

I'd like a stable ski which performs well. If my body position or technique aren't great, need a ski which would help me out.

Hence why I'm leaning towards a higher end ski with more width.

Some guys say, to ride a high end ski if you have the $$$, as rather than a ski which suits your ability level.

  3. Very interested to hearing people's views and feedback on the 2021 HO Omega Max.

I currently ski on 2016 Senate Graphite and would like to upgrade my ski. Skiing 30/32mph 16m.

Hard to say, but what Senate line would you compare the Omega Max too? Pro? Lithium?

Omega Max looks a great ski for a more reasonable price.

    Thanks in advance

  4. What's the easiest high end ski straight out of the box for an intermediate course level skier.

Only ski a set a week maybe two on a rare occasion.

As I don't have too much time on the water each week. I'd rather not tinker with fin/wing settings and boot placement.

Currently skiing on a 2016 Radar Senate Graphite since new.

    Max speed 34mph.

Be great to hear what peoples opinions are........

    Cheers guys

  5. Guys,

Interested to know what people think of this setup for your rear binding?

    Anyone ski with one?

Currently skiing with a Radar Profile binding front and HO fixed rtp.

Have always been intrigued to try a more of a fixed hybrid rear binding. Looks super comfy, flexible, supportive and will let your foot move around inside.

Any reviews/feed back would be awesome.

    Thanks in advance.

  6. I'm looking to get my son (6, average height) a set of combo skis. He's currently skiing on something similar to a HO Hot Shot Training ski 46".

I'd liked to get him a set with a RTP for when he'll try slalom. I want him to feel safe and confident. We both only ski a set a week and want him to enjoy it as much as possible, but still want him to keep improving slowly.

My question is....... What size combo set should I be looking into getting? Or an alternate?

Someone suggested the O'Brien Jnr Vortex combos 54"?

All advice and recommendations would be great.

    Thanks!

  7. Looking to purchasing a new ski rope. Currently using a Radar 10 section Mainline. It's fraying a little, don't want the inevitable to happen!

Anyone know what the difference between a Radar 8 and 10 section rope is?

    Thanks in advance

  8. Feed back on the Radar 2019 Vapor Lithium and Senate Pro.

I run the course 32/34mph @15off. Looking to shorten the rope at some stage in the near future.

I've had my 2016 Senate Graphite since new, just wondering if I should upgrade to a 2019 vapor lithium or senate pro.

    Cost also comes into things.

    All advice/recommendations would be great.

    Thanks guys
