  1. Growing up I skied behind outboards, and stern drives. We would literally catch air on the wakes. At 22 off there is a bump, but nothing compared to what I was used to. To me the boat was a huge improvement and everything about it was so much better. Now I own a pristine 98 196CB...It took me a bit to get used to what I call the dip or trough. A 3 blade prop did produce a softer wake than a 4 blade.
  2. Remove all dairy, wheat, and sugar from your diet an you’ll lose the fat. Compound lifts that utilize large muscle groups will be your best friend. Dr. said no more running, so I bike and jump on the trampoline with my daughter for some cardio. I’m going on 62 and very strong, but no matter how much I think I’m in shape..... the first runs of the year always humble me. Most importantly, have fun!
  3. I am 5'9'', 162lbs and ski at 34-36mph. water temp is 58-70 degrees. I am looking into an A3 and wondered what you all recommend for ski length. 66 or 65? Trading my 67'' VTX.
  4. About 15yrs ago I was in Avon Park, FL on business setting up some equipment for a client. His place was on a small lake and he had a pontoon boat that was about 6’ from the water due to drought. Me being the engineer I got it jacked up on some heavy wall pvc pipe and got it to roll back into the lake. There I was staring at this huge gray snake that was under the boat and about 3’ away from me. As I was leaning over trying to get a better look at it while asking “hey! What kind of snake is this?” the client pushed me out of the way and beat the hell out of it. For the rest of the week everyone teased me about being the “snake identifier” from Oregon.
  5. Nobody! Ok, here’s the deal... way back in 2002 I was skiing in Orlando and this new HO Truth ski came out and was supposed to be the chit. I ordered one and did ok with it only to find out later what a pos it was. I’m just trying not to make the same mistake.

I recently ordered a new 15 V series in 67” for $439 through Amazon. The company didn’t have that anymore and eventually sent me a brand new 18 VTX for the same price.
