  1. Touchlessboat covers are very tough. Mine is 20 years old and everything is original. I like it so much in Fl I put one on the Outer Banks if NC for an X46. The one in Fl is for a Prostar. I was skeptical it could handle OBX weather especially with it being so large but its been amazing. Its easily seen 80 MPH gust and it does just fine. I did add clips all the way around 4 on each side. Its needs to be down in the wind or the crevices retain water.

  2. Action Watersports in Orlando area jumped right on it and got me done in a few hours. Fully covered warranty. While I waited I swapped ski ideas with Aaron Larkin and was in and out in less than 3 hours. Had my ski with me to ski at lake crew but enjoyed talking to Aaron and taking a few works calls and was skiing that evening.

  3. Yes it’s seems like a warranty coverage but it seems crazy to have failed at less than 200 hours and was wondering if there is just a seal or does the entire assembly have to be replaced. I would rather be up and running if it’s a simple seal vs wait for 2 weeks for an appointment. Have other seen this happen?

  4. The raw water pump is leaking between the black triangle mounted to the fly wheel. Does this require an entire new raw water pump assembly or is there simpler fix. 2021 Prostar 6.0 less than 200 hours.
    thanks

  5. Very cool. Many large yachts are made overseas in Poland Africa and other countries were labor cost would be lower than here. While I’m not ready to switch from our 3 brands it could be an alternative and give us more pricing options

  6. I’d go with an outboard before the I/O. I had something close to this Glastron and I loved it back in the 70’s. But the DD are hard to beat as everyone is encouraging you. When I got back into skiing I worried to about water depth where I lived. I ski on a shallow water way and at my dock I have less than waist deep water. I now have a X46 5500 lb. Wakeboard boat in addition to a Prostar I dock here. It u are careful u can navigate shallow water

  7. Just buy used for now. The new PS are awesome. The market on the bigger WB Boats is getting saturated and prices are soft there. It’s going to take more time for new ski boats. MC is really the only one building any real numbers and even theirs are to low.
  8. I’ve got to add D3s gloves in the discussion. I have skied with Masterline and Ryan’s Dodds gloves this year and went right back to the D3 Kevlar. I’d some type of crazy wrench with my Masterline handle and those are the only gloves that will hold up to it. I do wear Masterline’s black at suit type material under them. 32 off to 35 max at 32.3 skier
  9. I am in Lake County and it took me about 9 months several years ago but the process has not changed from what I hear. I agree call J Travers he installs courses and can probably do the whole thing for you. It gotten so complicated you need to hire some with knowledge
  10. Just saw this. I operated OBX Wakeboard & Water-Ski on the Outer Banks for past 15 years but Covid and selling my 18 Prostar during Covid pretty much shut us down. We do have a 1992 we bought as a temporary boat but she’s not running well enough for course skiing. Maybe next week if ur still in town. If not next year we will be back with the new generation Prostar. You can always find out number using Google
  11. Hey live half my summers in Kitty Hawk. Ocean side skiing is not that bad. I just heading out to Ca for a wedding and thought I see if it was possible to get a set in. It’s fun to try and ski in places u vist. If you look u can just about always find something or some one to ski with.
