Thank you. I've been skiing behind this boat for years and love it. Considering buying on a private ski lake but a USA Waterski official towboat is a requirement. Trying to figure out if I qualify.

I have been skiing behind a friend's 2002 Ski Nautique 196 and love it. Thinking about buying a little older 196 - something in the range of 1985 through 1988. Is the wake and other ski characteristics very different in the older boat?

I called Overton's and they said it is brand new and probably never tested by anyone at their facility. Slight tweaking over the 2.0. For whatever this info is worth to anyone.

Thank you. I've been on a KD7000 for years, looking for some new technology that won't break the bank. I'm no hot shot but consider myself advanced. Heard really good things about the 2.0 so hoping this is a good ski, also.
