  1. We are looking for skiers at Pentalago in Palm City Florida! Lots are available NOW and houses are going to start going up in the next 4 to 8 weeks! Pentalago is in Martin County, Florida, just 10 miles from the fabulous East Coast beaches, with surfing, diving, offshore fishing, and tons of golf courses. You can purchase a 5 acre lot (total area of land and and build a 4BR house, and stay in your budget. We have 5 lakes, 4 slalom courses, a jump, and what we think is one of the best locations in South Florida! www.Pentalago.com
  2. Pentalago is finalizing our HOA documents. For anyone out there that lives on a ski lake with an HOA, what language do you wish you had in your docs that you don't, and vice versa? We have 5 lakes, and want bulletproof protection for our rights to ski year round on protected water. Specific examples of language from actual HOA docs that you like and/or don't like would be great, and will hopefully reduce conflict down the road at Pentalago and other sites where people just want to get out on the water and get along.
  3. It didn't take a 100 foot jump to medal in Overall in Men 5 at Nationals this year, and 107 got a medal in Jump. If you're in Men 5, and your goal is to win a medal at Nationals, your odds in Jump (or Overall) are a lot better than in Slalom or Trick. Now that I've exposed my plan, I hope we have MORE Jumpers next year! Isn't that AWSA's Goal??
  4. Top rated schools here in Martin County Florida, and great weather for a wide variety of Agriculture. 10 miles from the beach, 35 minutes North of West Palm, 5 lakes with year-round skiing. Stuart was voted Most Beautiful Small Town in America a couple years ago. 2 hours to Miami or Orlando, but still has a small town feel. Water is 81 today. Plenty of lakefront lots from $200k to $400k, but they won't last long. www.pentalago.com

  5. I'm 55, I've never jumped over 90 feet, get to jump about once a year, but I have WAY more fun with that occasional jump than I do running a good slalom pass, Get really comfortable on jumpers, jump the wakes a lot and run the course, stretch your legs and back, go 24 - 26 mph, have the boat run inside the course and don't worry about how far you go. Bend your KNEES, Keep your head up, eyes on the TREES, and FREEZE. Then just ride over, land, and ski away. I predict a HUGE smile on your face!
  6. You are correct, the Jump lake is about 2500, the other 3 will all be lengthened to 2000-2100 and then connected with canals. We are also making the jump landing area a bit longer, and the South end of the East lake a bit wider. We are permitted and the work will start soon, completion early next summer, but we are skiing all winter!
