Got one for my wife. Loves it.
But small is quite big.

I scramble back on that ski all the time. I’m working on my gate a lot lately, to reduce the scrambling requirement.

I upgraded from the 2023 Radar Pro Build to the ‘24. I ski at 32mph.
The 2024 accelerates and turns even faster, and is more stable overall.
The third set in I matched my PB of 35’ off. This morning I ran 35’ off back to back the first time ever. That was the fifth set. Next time that happens I’m cutting to 38’ off.
And - yes, I’m a very rough skier - if interested, see the first three passes below (Nov 5, 2023).https://youtube.com/playlist?list=PLQvwhrWaBTswxBZSEemBUPvusgz4A4U8C&si=D9YHHUBoTzNP6DWd

Let's use this thread to share some details and links to our amateur water-skiing channels.
I'll go first.
I started this channel about 5 years ago in Wisconsin. It's transitioned to Florida now.
It's purpose is slalom course skiing self-critique and self-coaching, for the ultimate goal of improved performance.
I film with a Ski-Doc orbit and GoPro 9 with the GoPro labs speed-enabled start/stop function.
The YouTube channel is Michael Wiebe, with the 5am Ski Club being a playlist of the almost 500 course passes. Yes, we ski early mostly.

We often ski glare on our lake. It’s east west, and we ski early before work. Absolutely terrible sometimes. Especially this time of year when the sun is lined up to the course. You can’t see the turn buoy until it’s right there sometimes. You pull long sometimes, or run over it, or turn before it, etc. Even the gates are hard to see sometimes. Glasses don’t work well, since water drops get on them But it’s not a tournament, so all good.

Private ski lake near Tampa.

Here's a case in point. Please see the above link with several videos.
Dave has a great lean, allowing him to consistently get into 38' off.
MMW has a mediocre lean - never gotten into 38' off.
Thanks.
PS: We know we have many, many gaps. But we're having fun, and that's the point.

Running lower RPM should save a bit of fuel. Less hauling of gas jugs. I like that.

I had my first ever skin cancer checkup appointment a couple weeks ago. Was very easy. Fast. And got the all clear.

The GoPro Hero 12 also guarantees 6 more buoys I bet. Then I’m in. Hahaha.

@scoke Deland, FL.

Go Thibaut Dailland!
Let it rip at Swiss this weekend!

Perhaps electric propulsion resolves this topic. But of course it brings up others.

A recent pass.

Size 11.5. I use the standard size, and go up with both feet in for short setups, and one in for longer setups.

Bump and repost.
