  1. Reply from EZ for everyone’s information.

    Hi Brad,

Unfortunately I've retired and EZ-Slalom courses are no longer being manufactured. I'm hopeful that someone will pick up the business and restart production but right now that's still being discussed with a couple of different entities. Appreciate the interest, sorry I can't help you.

Best Regards, Ed @ EZ-Slalom (retired)

  2. I met Terrry this spring when I was down at LaPoint ski park skiing with my young daughter. He and his wife were extremely kind and I was absolutely amazed at his resilience and incredible perseverance to ski after his first stroke. Amazing person and skier. Please pass along our thoughts and prayers to him from Brad and Elsa from Utah. You got this Terry!! See you on the water this spring.
  3. 10 yr old daughter just got back from Coble ski camp and had an amazing time. She is an alpine racer as well and opted out of Mt Hood with her ski team to do this camp. When I picked her up she said “Dad, this totally blows away snow skiing. I love this” :)She and my 7yr old will be going next year as well. Happy to chat about her experience anytime.
  4. I ended up modifying a hrt that a friend had laying around and removing the back heel (prob 2 inches off the back of the boot on each side) I skied today for first time with it and was awesome. I think being able to lift my heel getting up makes a big difference in terms of my back. But then still having all the lateral support made it so I honestly didn’t skip a beat in regards to my skiing, as I have been double boot my whole life. Might be a good way to transition to a true RTP if decide to. Plus I was able to kick in super easy when I tried dragging. Just thought I’d share.
  5. Old thread but hoping to get some advice on putting a tower on a 2018 200 I just purchased.

Is the aviator still the aftermarket tower of choice? Has anyone installed themselves ? Or would you recommend taking it to a dealer. Thanks !

  6. Thats not a fun injury to recover from, but I would just stick to pendulums for the next couple of weeks, then get yourself into a PT to help with maintaining ROM...mostly passive at first. Strengthening will come when healed....prob around 6-8 weeks. The scapula has 17 muscles that attach to it, so super complex, but heals well especially if fracture is extra-articular (not in joint). Sorry to hear about your injury, but you wont have any problems getting back at it by next season.
  7. Ortho here. You likely tore your gastroc/calf muscle. I would recommend going to PT as soon as you can to expedite recovery. These can linger awhile if you don’t get on top of it. Need to prevent scar tissue from forming where the tear was to eliminate chronic issues with it. I would expect about 4-6 weeks until feels back to normal depending on severity of strain/tear. Wear a heel cup or heel lift to offload and calf compression wrap for next couple days. Good luck. Frustrating injury for sure.
