  1. I have a 67” Radar Katana that I skied on at 205 pounds this summer and it comes out of the water super easily. I skied it in the course at 30 and 32 mph and it is a lot of fun to rip turns and it crosses the wake well. It is probably less aggressive than the Union but would be easier out of the water than the Union particularly at 69”. I never read about the Katana but it is a really good ski.
  2. I think @ryota is in Korea he would probably be a good person to connect with about skiing in Korea as well.

The categories are guidelines. A skier in the Free Skier class will be easier to get up on, more supportive at slower speeds and less responsive. That said if you can get up on a ski and have fun on it you can ski on any of the classifications.

  3. That 69” ski will be plenty of support. I would definitely look at the graphite construction or higher. I am about 205 pounds and have skied the Radar Katana 67” extensively in the course over the past two summers at 30 and 32 mph at 22 and 28 off and it turns great.
  4. I remember being at Travers and watching JT put bondo on his Reflex binding plate to build stability. It seems like that was a precursor to the HO Edge.

The rear toe is interesting. It seems like getting your foot in farther might offset the fact that the padding under the foot is gone. I have a Radar RTP I don’t love I might have to muck around with it over the winter.

  5. My season is winding down and I went to try and buy some of the HC-1 hull cleaner I have used for the last few years and it doesn’t seem to be in the market anymore. I would rather not go back to the acid. Has anyone found anything that works close to as well but isn’t as harsh?
