We still have the 16 CP as a club boat now and a member with a 19 Nautique 6.2.  The CarbonPro is a 6.0 so lots of grunt, but the prostar has just a little more so when you’re connected it casts you out nice and early, feels soft but connected to me.   Not like the boat is running away at all.  The wakes at 34 -28 are very similar to the CP (ie not there…), I’ve only skied 28/32/35 so far.  For me, it feels like the pull of the nautique with the wakes of the CarbonPro;)

I love both. I think the wake of the MC is as close to the perfect wake of the Cpro as I have skied. Cpro would overshoot a little on short set up like ours so driver had to feather the throttle a little but the MC does not have that issue. Reports from 26.7 and 28.6 15 off skiers resoundingly positive. And a 32mph skier is now cutting to 22off rather than trying 34mph as there is no bump at 22 off.

    Cheers

Pretty simple modification can be made to be able to measure this and traditional handles. Actually the IWWF rules were changed prior to the conception of this product. For 2023 season the rule was a 2cm wide block be used when measuring. This is my solution.

Like it, would definitely have to change our Miami one to math that

After reading this review and thread I abandoned my “in between” settings posted above for stock long and shallow, and it’s better in every way.  Wish it would stay warm a few more weeks, it feels like this ski could take me from “very rarely” running 38 to at least “occasionally” or better!

You finally listed to me and went to long and shallow, told you I was right 🤪

I know many people use sure-path with hot-spot in the boat. We got a SIM card to make it easier and more reliable in tournaments...

Today I had a software / Carrier update and lost data through SIM card.

After a few calls and troubleshooting, it turned out that the update overrode APN settings to ATT instead of ATT through Red Pocket.

I followed this guide and back in business: https://www.redpocket.com/configure

    I hope it helps others...

I have had this due to phone update 6-12 months ago. Configured as @rico said and worked again. Red pocket to AT&T has been working great in Miami and in NH for me. I have heard a few things about folks having trouble but not me, touch wood.

I ask because we have a short setup, the new boat struggles to get to 36mph probably half a boat length before pre gates,  I  drive. 35-38 off skier he is struggling to get the feel he is looking for, but said it feels better in recreational mode, he skis at another lake, different water and longer setup with no issues, he was quite happy until we got the new boat, I drive him the way I  have always driven him, but just lately he showing signs of frustration, not being able to work it out.

Not sure if the boat can be remapped, remembering we run gas injected LPG in the UK

    .

It would not hurt to remap zero off. I sometimes ski rec mode on a short set up and have not felt any difference. If it is 2 different boats that you are using  then I would understand different feel as well as the water.
