  1. @dchristman‌ Well the great thing is that there are plenty of other activities to do nearby that you can get a couple sets in and still have time to do things with the family. Just sayin'. :-)

Austin and San Antonio are less than 45 minutes away. Not to mention the Hill Country. Plus with nationals being here this year you will want to get familiar with the site before the big show.

  2. If you need a driver I know a real good one in Park City. Watched him pull skiers into 39 last year. His wife can wheel the boat as well. They will be around until June then they are heading to Texas until mid August.
  3. @SocalWaterSki -we are usually out there the last week of February. We have been coming out every year since 2001. Love to ski with you. Wife and I get to take advantage of the Epic Pass this year since we are also going to Keystone over Christmas. We got our 3 yr old up on skis this year and she loved it. Just waiting for the water to warm up a bit more to get her behind the boat.

  4. Funny, my friend in Park City is selling his ski lake lot at San Marcos River Ranch and will be putting his ski lake house outside of Houston for sale later this year.

We head to Park City every February and love it there, if we ever move out of Texas that would be one place we would think about moving to.

  5. Jedge,

I live in Austin and I am very familare with both and with Madd11. Please feel free to contact me with questions. I do not officially represent either facility. I am building at SMRR and have leased at Auquaplex when I first moved to Austin (do not read anything into where we decided to build). I can be reached at scisen at ptd dot net.

Great people and a great product. I also think they are a good value.

I have the Kit HSK 4500 model. With the pole (you supply) off to one side so the grease doesn't drip on my boat.

  7. Ed- You may be correct with the newcores, post 04. In my research the pre 04 cores did fail more often hence the need for the change. The new cores have visible copper tubing running through the core. This type of of core would accept a coating much better than the old which is just honeycomb except for the caps and inlet and output tubes (no visible tubing in the center of the core).
