I was qualified and did go to the Nationals, but could not ski due to a medical reason.

And @Horton is only going to trick. Watch out @leeski.

@Rich According to the Water Skier, Frankie Dees won M2 slalom with 3@32off, Dave was 2nd with 2@32. Still a nice accomplishment for him.

 

The conditions are always challenging at Berkeley Aquatic Park with a near constant cross-wind off of the SF bay, fast salt water and normally chilly weather. Scores were always lower there than most anywhere else. Glad I don't ski there anymore.

I skied in M2 at these Berkeley Nationals in 1977. But I don’t remember the details of the OM runoff.

So four skiers tied with 2@35 and Hugh and Tony ended up tied for 5th. I bet they ran out of loops on the official towline and just called 5th place a tie.

@MattP Yes I know, I'm the guy who puts the scores there. I'm just looking for the years I don't have.

Anyone have full results for the Masters for the following years which we are missing at BOS?

And 1959 (1) – 1963 (5)

 

Hoping for results that show slalom: #buoys/rope/speed/place, Trick: points/place and Jump: distance/place

I'm really on a Quest to sell this ski!!

I tried the 65.25 and then the 66.75. The 66.75 was much more stable for me, and it still turns great. I'm 6'0" and 198 lbs. Ski 34 mph into 35' off.

 

I'd go with the 66.75 - but I have not tried the 66.

My Nano One Toob™ arrived last Friday from Fedex so I had all weekend to dial it in. My “Beer Holder” settings are depth 4.75, length 2.875 and DFT 5’ 11.65”. The flex numbers are off the chart. Anyone tried other settings? I’m thinking I need a little more depth (yep the beer flew outta the holder a couple of times).

@ShaneH - no problem. I do sound a little like an over-zealous official.

 

I'm not sure how multi-round H2H's are scored so I just use whatever the scorebook says.

The official scorebook from the USAWaterski.org web site for the 2012 DIABLO SHORES PRO AM shows Will Asher with 3@41, 6@41 and 3@41. The list @Horton mentions only includes scores at 43' off, so a score of 6@41 is not included.

Nate's scores from the same scorebook are 0.50@41, 6@41, 2@41 so no 43 off attempt is included for him either.

I've been on one for almost a month. Tried the 65.25 and it felt like I was skiing on a ski that was too small for me. It turned great on both sides, but I really felt unstable crossing the wake. Called Goode and they sent me the 66 (after I returned the 65). It turns just as good and feels much more stable. I'm 6 foot 197 and ski 34 mph. This ski turns best when I don't try to make it turn, just get it on edge and let it carve. Neither the 65 or 66 feels "fast" but as others have said, it just seems to get you where you need to be.

I watched today on my iPhone using Skyfire. It's an app on iTunes that translates flash into an iPhone compatible format.

I've searched all over the Goode web site and can't find the measurement for a 65 Nano mid from the tail to the back of the front binding.

Anyone know?
