  1. I believe paige was in shortline setting records.

Focus on stacked position thru the wakes. At slower speeds the wakes are big.Teach Creating space from the buoy so they learn backslding the buoy, Not skiing to it. A Longer ski will help achieve this with fewer OTF. When teaching stacked position shorter skiis have a greater chance of OTF. To many focus on turns - the ski will turn if you ski wide enough with space.

I am Not a fan of the wide skiis due to a flat knife thru butter verses the cutting edge. If a wide ski is used for the purpose of getting up. Use easy up handle - It can also be used in tournaments.

Adult skiis up to 67inch equipped with proper binders work well IE use one of your old hi end skiis. I have used Goode 9800's all will work. I believe rear toe helps junior skiers achieve stacked position. Double boots locks them up into dumpy butt position and sometimes stays with them creating a sqatty skier.

  2. Skiing has given me a lifetime of Fun = Camping, fishing, cooking out, hanging out, beautiful sunrise/sunset, raising a family skiing, friends across the nation, parties before after, my kids still like hanging with mom and dad. Seeing my kids smile instead of the back of their head looking at a video game. Traveling to ski sites across the US with new friends I met via skiing tournaments.

Skiing has given me a lifetime of serious = Staying shape, purpose and goal every night after work to practice, teaching my kids common sense driving a boat and safety. Taught my kids the outdoors how to survive in the wild. Sportsmanship of what to do and what not do watching some make fools of themselves at the party and on the water.

Moral of the Story make skiing a priority it's a great life.

  3. Question does IWWF and Pro events have 1 boat judge and 2 tower judges like AWSA events. If the same which judge called what. I will go with the boat judge every-time. The boat judge sees 99% tower judges see 50% or less.

Not enough money in the sport to have qualified people setting up Instant replay and quality video etc. Why mess with it until it is viable. Same goes with tower judges why have them.

The 1rst frame posted I would say he missed it but other frames posted I would give it to him. Good boat judge all ya need. Bad calls are made at every level but a pattern follows that judge.

  4. If you want the sport the to grow or your finding it hard to participate. Quit thinking about your own opinion and read about solutions - especially what @sunperch wrote. I find this on this website people do not read post and learn. They only want to toot there horn - your missing out on good info.
  5. The insert thread is still good (I think). The problem is It spins when putting a screw in or out. I noticed when removing a screw the insert came with it. I took a allen wrench and threaded it back in. I stopped at this point because I figured if I started another screw in it I force it thru the bottom of the ski.
  6. I have skied behind it but mostly drove it. It is weight sensitive and driver input sensitive. You can not have a heavy hand with this boat. It skies great with the right driver and weight. 22 off it sucks but beyond that it is very skier friendly. I have never drove a boat that you feel the load and release. My experience is if the nose is center let it do it's thing. There is alot of crazy shit going on in the mirror - focus on the nose it will come straight.
