  1. I have had Radar bindings since they were first available. Presently on my 3rd set. The release method is all about the laces. DO NOT LACE THEM UP TIGHT. Especially the upper lace. Snug the lowers and barely snug the uppers. I check the tightness by standing on my ski on the boat platform in the bindings, by lifting my heel up. I make sure that I can lift my heels up approx half way out of the binding with a fair bit of resistance. Loser the safer.
  2. Those of you that jumped on ghutch are those ruining this sport that is having no problems dying on its own. The man is simply looking for a pull and make contacts. Shame on you uppity trust fund spoiled buttheads that think everyone has money dripping from their back pockets. All travelers are welcome to ski at our ski site free. We enjoy hosting guests and making contacts. ScottScott, right on!
  3. Hey Ya'll, I am still researching the Mt. Dora / Travares areas for permanent relocation, waterskiers and slalom courses. Will be in Mt. Dora Sept. 14th - 23rd. Please reply back or text me (615) 496-4706 with any leads on lake houses < $400,000 and/or a chance for a ski ride. fyi: I have a realtor that I am loyal to.
  4. Let's never forget Andy for the great skier and more importanly, what a great person he was. I was lucky enough to have a few lessons and conversaions with him. Sometimes funny, always focused. Never forget.
  5. When I first started skiing with my new Syndicate hard-shell, the toe would come half-way out of the toe restraint bar when I would take a spill. As instructed by somebody at HO( ???), I moved the heel release steel bracing to the forward hole...there are only 2 holes for adjustment. I have not had any issues since.
  6. Presently live near Nashville, TN. Lakefront property would be ideal. However, across the street with easy dock and ramp access also works. Not wanting big lake. The big chain doesn't excite me. Need lot size big enough so to have a large shop. Not rich. Not poor. Beauclaire probably out of my budget. Lake Joanna and Ola appear to be good fit. The boat in profile pic is running. I built it. Other water related interests include old wood boats and vintage outboard engines. All suggestions welcomed!
  7. I have found that one day clinics with 20 other skiers does not result in good quaility coaching. To me, good quality coaching involves a number of sets with the same coach. Best is repeating days so the coach can fully understand thier student and instruct accordingly. My two favorites are Seth Stisher and Chet Raley.
