    Hey Ballers! More specifically CO Ballers, Chris Parrish will be coming through town and spending 2 days at Lakeview Ski Club for a 2 day clinic June 13th and 14th. I am coordinating this clinic so if you'd like to take a set with a legend and learn from one of the most efficient skiers ever, please reach out to me. Also we will hopefully be using the new 2019 Ski Nautique. Should be an awesome two days!!

     

     

  2. @rico what is your height ans weight? Im 6’3 200 lbs. and ride a 68 2017 Pro Build Vapor. I love the ski, but im considering the 2018. Have you ever ridden the 2017 and if so where you on a 67? Im torn between a 68 or 67. I ski 36 but will be dropping down to 34 next year. I can get into 38 off so not a great skier.
  3. Is there something to be said about a heavier ski? Is lighter always better?

    The A1 had very large pontoon like bevels on both sides. Can you comment why those bevels used on the A1 went away? Seems like I picked up a really old 80's learning ski and it also had those same wide flat spot bevels on both sides. Maybe that's why the A1 was so stable?

    New wake diffusers seem interesting, I wonder if the dip in the wake gone?

     

    Might be a little difficult to wax this new boat with all those new angles.

     

    Can't wait to drive and ski one!

  5. @BraceMaker Pehaps! It's very weird fuel! I have to change my oil in my car every 1000 miles because of oil dilution. After running it for a few years in my race car my valves look very, very bad! It also doesn't play well with certain hoses and rubber.
  6. For reliability and longevity, stay away from E85. Also E85 is hygroscopic and running it in a boat could mean a lot of oil dilution. I run E85 in my 700 HP turbo 4 cylinder and it's hard on the internals.

     

    With E85 you have to run a lot more fuel to produce the same HP. But it's far less prone to detonation than pump gas. In Turbo applications this means you can run heaps of boost and get away with it.

     

    Like @BraceMaker said, it's 2 dollars racing fuel! Pretty amazing stuff but has some cons.

  7. I agree with @skiinxs, H6 then ZR409. I have a 2015 with the ZR409. However the new ZR409 in the 2017's and 2018's do not come with the closed loop cooling. The 409's are known to run a little on the hot side. Without the closed loop cooling from the factory, this could cause engine failure earlier. Something to think about.

     

    If it were me and I was going to buy a brand new boat...I'd go H6! Or find a used 200 with H6 or used 2015, 2016 ZR409.

  8. @JRPFoCo - You're welcome to ski with me anytime next year. I spent a year in FL with my family and will be back in CO for next ski season. My family has a private lake in Greeley with course but we live in Broomfield so I usually get a membership at Lakeview (Firestone, CO) as well because it's closer to us. I usually ski 3-4 sets a week. PM me if you need another option.

     

    PS - I have a 2015 SN 200 with Zero Off (Single puck).

  9. Again I'm not trying to take away from the victory, @AdamCord skied lights out and crushed the competition. He and the new Denali looked incredible from the shore. I even chatted with him about the new ski before I took my set. Love the new tech that they incorporated into this ski.

     

    After hearing your thoughts and perspective @AdamCord I can see both sides and your frustration as well. Maybe level 10 is a good idea.
