  1. my permanent address is in Minneapolis Mn, my weekend address is Balsam Lake Wisconsin. its 90 miles north east of the twin cities. The Balsam Lake Water Ski Association has been gaining interest the last few years, so far mainly do "show" skiing events. hoping to get a course on the lake soon. However half moon lake is just a 1/2 mile trailer pull to there permanent course.
  2. Just made our family spring break plans. Family could not decide on anything, so I finally got them to skip the beach and go skiing. Snow skiing kinda thinking one of these villas may have been a better option as the polar vortex here in Minnesota is continuing to freeze my soul.
  3. I bought a port-0-dock lift cause that's what the marina on our lake sells. im sure some are better, but it works fine. My only comment is about canopies, I don't like them. Birds nest inside them, they block your view from shore, they add a lot of work to spring and fall- taller, heavier, and a canopy maintain.

  4. stand up jet ski, vintage snowmobile racing, hockey, snow skiing, motocross

kawasaki quit building standups in 2011, yamaha still makes a stand up super jet, but it is sold for "competition use only" the stand up skis are all two stroke engins and jan. 1 2012 our government put restrictions on the use of two stroke engins.

  5. I would agree that pulling a strong slalom skier from the pole or eyelet is a mistake. It does make it easier to get up though, especially with a shortened rope. when starting a beginner we always go boom 1st then boom with handle, then from the tower pole.

my kids do not like tubing from the tower it scares them tube gets airbourne and often flips over. to keep ropes out of water we like the "booster ball" its like a big football that floats in the middle of the tow rope. works good, opens up the boat seating area as you can pull of the back cleat, and it makes pulling multiple tubes easier because you still only have one rope attached to boat.
