  1. Hello,I have a newly renovated, fully furnished townhouse in Winter Haven for rent beginning November 1st-end of April. This townhouse is directly on Lake Lulu with a water ski course. Lake LuLu is connected to 16 lakes in Winter Haven with access to restaurants, bars and live music. You can park a pontoon or ski boat right out the back door. There is trailer parking and a ramp on the property. If you are looking for a winter home, check out this link and message me for more photos.

  2. We got a course permitted in Orange County, Florida on a lake in Windermere. The biggest obstacle was finding a place to put it that did not touch the water rights/property lines of other lot owners because their property lines went really far out onto the lake. We ended up purchasing the land under the water in the center of the lake to get the permitting. After we applied for the permit, we had to present to the Orange County commissioners. The entire process took about 9 months. Some counties have a more difficult permit process than others. Not sure about Seminole County. I hear Polk County doesn't even have a permitting process or that it's much easier to put a course on a lake there.

  3. HI -have skied both the Radar Vapor 19 and the D3 NRG 2 at mostly 32 mph and 28 & 32 off. I could never seem to get a nice 2 ball turn on the Vapor and never got to 3 ball at 35 off. On the D3, I have gotten deeper into 35 consistently. On the Radar, I ran 32 really well all the time. Off side was also unpredictable. The D3 is slower but a better turning ski in my opinion. Definitely slower though. It took me a while to realize that I was still in the pass approaching the buoy. You should try the D3 but give it enough sets to get used to the difference in how they ride.

  4. I bought the boat in 04 with little knowledge of engines. It was the least expensive of the 04 Nautiques at that time so I bought it. I thought about selling it in 2013 and a prospective buyer brought this to my attention, so I verified the engine with Correct Craft to make sure it was the original engine and they confirmed it. It has been a very good boat and I have been very much on the fence about selling it but really wanted to upgrade to a 200 hull and zero off. I seriously considered dropping a new engine in it too and keeping it but there was nothing wrong with the existing engine, so I decided to bite the bullet and upgrade.
  5. We just got approval on a permitted course on our lake in Orlando. The process took about 10 months. According to Orange County, it's the 3rd course to be permitted within the past 15 years. We had a hearing last week and several property owners showed up to oppose it (2 attorneys were there representing property owners) and we still won. Historically there had been a course on the lake 15 years ago but when someone complained about the course, we could not find a record of the permit. First we moved the course away from the complaining party's dock to the other side of the lake. When the owners on the other side of the lake complained, we filed for a permit. Out of 50+ land owners around the lake, about 7 complained so we made sure the course didn't touch their land/water rights. Although it's not the ideal position for a course, it's legal now. We were also told we could certainly place a floating course temporarily in a more protected location of the lake for a period of 1-2 weeks at a time.
  6. I went with the HO hardshell and love it. Took me about 5 sets and am running my challenge pass (32 off) almost every set now. It pre-released early 2 or 3 days ago, so I tightened it just a bit (now between 3 and 4). It was originally set on 3. Almost tied my PB (4@35 off) 2 days ago, so I think it will work.
