Santa brought a new Radar hoodie!  Coziness!

At some of our Arvin tournaments we are lucky enough to have an announcer.  
His family is super involved in tournaments not only skiing but as chief boat drivers and scorers so he knows just about everyone.  But if he doesn’t know you, he will by the end of the day!
He manages to keep us knowing who is on the water and who is coming up. 
He is a teacher by day….so he has ALL of the bad jokes and crazy trivia 
But he also queues up the music for each skier.   Kind of like a walk up song in baseball.  Sometimes it is so funny to hear what he picks….lots of great skiing but lots of fun.  

Camaro Blactec.   You have to be careful with them but super cozy!

There are plus two more across town…Arvin is a magical place with lots of lakes and plenty of lake time

7th Heaven Slip and Swerve 

I had amazing and accidental success with the seat cleaner/moisturizer  that spilled on the floor of my 2019 PS floor while I had the deckadence out last weekend.  

Very white floors with not a lot of effort.

Your first ski was made by “Cut and Jump” and the top looked like denim

I have used the Stokes  Blue SteeI vest for the past 2.5 years.  It is amazing. Has held its fit and color very well in the So Cal heat.   It floats me well and it seems to have a little more padding to protect you from those dreaded rib shots (yet it is still super light weight)

 I would say the sizing is pretty true.   

I just ordered and received a new Stokes Velocity vest (not because anything is wrong with the blue steel just fun to have something new)

They have excellent customer service.

If you’re already checking the weather for next weekend and this weekend isn’t even over with.  

For me, driving tips, tournament prep, skiing in adverse conditions.    But heck, they are all amazing    

They have a pretty cool setup at LaPoints Ski Lake in Orlando.  The members each have a code that gets keyed in and they get billed I think monthly (?).   @lpskier would know the details.   Seems to be more about sharing cost fairly….some like 4 passes.   Others 8……

We love our 2019 ProStar….but once upon a time my dad told me “the best boat is the one you’re lucky enough to ski behind”.   Enjoy the search!

Water 62. Air 64 in Arvin……but look at that water…..so worth it!

If Radar has a demo day near you next year you should try to go. You could try some skis, get some amazing tips, hang out with some cool people.
I went this year and have always skied on a 67 Senate Pro and Brooks said to try a 65 (5’6” 160 lbs) and it was awesome. We skied and they set it up so nicely that the ski followed me home lol.

Cheering on the Cal Poly kids….the webcast is fun. Loving the banter between the California announcer and the Kansas announcer. Wouldn’t be college sports without a rivalry. BTW I loved Mystic Lakes this summer….but sorry Kansas announcer, doesn’t beat the home lake in Arvin!

Smacked the water pretty good learning to ski the course one morning. I just remember seeing yellow and then I was on the dock and didn’t know how I got there. It can happen….._
