Administrators Horton Posted September 4, 2009 Administrators Share Posted September 4, 2009 I am getting some skis to demo and do not want the tops to get scuffed. Anybody know what the stuff is that D3 puts on top - under the binding to protect the skis? Duct tape works but it looks rookie. Baller roda Posted September 5, 2009 Baller Share Posted September 5, 2009 Use blue painters tape. I know you can get it at least 2" wide. It's cheap and comes off easy w/out residue. Use 2 layers if your worried about scratching through it.  As long as you trim it straight and just longer than you need it shouldn't look too bad. Tuney
I don't know the stuff D3 uses but if it is the colour of the tape that you don't like you should be able to find duct tape of various colours. I know when we used to move the boxing ring to various venues we used red, white and blue duct tape.
