My impression was that it was designed to keep guys who are over 35 but skiing pro full time (i.e. Jeff Rogers, Drew Ross) from dropping down and taking 34 money. It doesn't seem right that if one of us old guys who happens to like skiing 36 could go to a tour stop for fun, get lucky on the weekend of our lives, place 8th making $200, and be out of big dawgs for five years? Not likely that it would really happen, but doesn't seem quite right. I don't think you could declare yourself as "amateur" (as in golf) for Open cash prize tournaments, but then still make money at Big Dawgs. I have heard that they have stopped making the RS 1? Seems strange with Rossie and Whit doing so well on it. (And MS of course) I hope their new stick is good.
