lbow
We had about the same yesterday morning in CO. Wasn't too bad going downwind, but my face stopped working in the headwind.
Baller Laz Posted April 11, 2010 Baller Share Posted April 11, 2010 Nice. How do you keep your hands and feet from freezing. I find that the limiting factor.
Tuney
By those looks I'd say the hands and feet are freezing haha.

Old MS Accout
Brent,Whats with the vest? Dry suit have an air leak?
SM
Keeping the feet warm is no problem, the FM hardshells are cozy. Hands are definitely and we usually put surgical gloves on top off our ski gloves but we didn't bother this time. The worst issue yesterday was the spray off the boat. We had significant chop on the lake and the 87 Mastercraft throws up some nasty spray in those conditions. You end up getting a serious ice cream headache. Soon as the water temp breaks 50 we'll switch to wetsuits and get the course in.
Tom Henderson
Wow good work guys, you broke the 100 rule. I didnt know that you could factor in wind speed, but with it you made it over the mark. Barely!!
JGray
Not to hijack the thread but to add to the life jacket comments!  I have an oneil hybrid suit and I wear my eagle pull over tournament vest under it for warmth and rib protection. Add's a little extra impact protection(not much but some) and it also adds a nice layer of insulation right around the core to help keep the body temps up.  Also for whatever reason it just doesn't feel right to NOT have a vest on! Guess I have had to many bad crashes!
Baller ForrestGump Posted April 13, 2010 Baller Share Posted April 13, 2010 Geez! I'm in a dry suit til 60 degrees water/80 degrees air. We texans are a prissy little bunch, I guess. LOL
Baller UTWaterSki Posted April 13, 2010 Baller Share Posted April 13, 2010 I'm jealous of everyone still in their suits! The 73 degree water and 78 degree air has me down to almost nothing here in Austin. I'm almost overheating in a rash guard nowadays.
Baller Chef23 Posted April 14, 2010 Baller Share Posted April 14, 2010 I just pulled my winter cover off yesterday. I need to get the dock in before I can get the boat in and some cleanup done. It may be another week or so.
TomD
We've been skiing in Sacramento for about a month. Yesterday it was 61 and the water was about 65 - no wind as you can see. The three days before, however, were cold, windy and rainy. http://web1.twitpic.com/img/86609342-3a341de6d6226b25a6f0823cc8275da7.4bc5e8e7-
