WIskier
Hi, I was wondering if anyone could tell me if it would be alright to get a ski thats a little to big for you. For example, suppose there is a skier who weighs about about 120 pounds, the ski that should fit him would be a 65 inch ski, but would it be alright to ski on a 66 inch where you should weigh about 140 pounds or will it just be to big to ski well on? Thanks, Kyle
Baller MattP Posted September 27, 2010 Baller Share Posted September 27, 2010 I think you should be fine on the 66... but ill ask anyway what are you using the ski for? Course or free skiing? What speed/lengths? I take it the ski is for a younger kid or woman.

Tuney
I started as an 7-8 year old on a 66. The issue I had was the rtp was mounted too far back - and a ski from that era didn't really have adjustable bindings... I found myself standing on the ball of my rear foot. Looking back I wish I had a smaller ski(or at least a better binding position). In your case I don't think you'll have any of those issues. The ski will ride in the water nicely.
