Baller Rup Posted May 21, 2011 Baller Share Posted May 21, 2011 When I can I go to France to ski on a lake but the rest of the time I am on the sea free skiing. I live in Guernsey which is in the English Channel. After a couple of years great coaching my skiing is improving (running the course at 52kph). My question is any advice on skiing in less than perfect conditions? Conditions were far from perfect yesterday and I found it really difficult to keep my new better position? I still enjoy skiing even when conditions are not great but a way to enjoy it more would be even better! Thanks in advance Rup
Baller GAJ0004 Posted May 22, 2011 Baller Share Posted May 22, 2011 Keep extra soft knees around the turns. It will reduce your chances of kicking your fin out..
Baller Rup Posted May 23, 2011 Author Baller Share Posted May 23, 2011 Thanks, I think my legs were too stiff - natural reaction was to fight. I also need to work on keeping my hips forward when it is rough.....
