Converting a 04 Lxi to handle ZO

I have an 04 Lxi, possibly considering putting ZO in it. For me to get drive by wiring and put the new digital computer in there how much would that roughly cost not including the $1500 for ZO

Can't be done without spending several thousand, like $5 - 6K. I have an '05 LXI (LOVE this boat!) and have asked the question before. Gotta change out pretty much all the electronic controls, rewiring etc etc. IMO you'd be way better off to sell your '04, take that money and then some, and buy a newer boat already ZO equipped. You do know PP has a ZO Emulator comming available any time now?

Ye i know but for that you have to do the StarGazer upgrade and its gonna be an additonal $400 so the I believe $1400+400=$1800, rather just get the real ZO

Kinda like investing in a big addition to your house that will put you upside down in the investment vs resale equasion. If you're gonna live there the rest of your life how much you've invested doesn't matter, you'll live your money's worth out of it. If however you intend to sell/upgrade at some point there is a point of diminishing returns to consider. Just have to figure where that point is. Myself I have no intensions of trading boats in the forseeable future. This one should last me until my old worn out back finally goes...

Well yea, and as soon as they come down in price we will own a 200. were looking at 2 years from now a 2010 should be affordable
