Baller AKShortline Posted March 7, 2012 Baller Share Posted March 7, 2012 I'm buying a used 200. Heard there is an issue with the rope haning up/chaffing on the hinges for the storage bins. Is this a big enough problem to worry about? Heard of any simple solutions? Replace the Sano pads with current year? Assume they are thicker? Baller jdarwin Posted March 7, 2012 Baller Share Posted March 7, 2012 Never had that issue on my 2010. I had heard of that issue also but it never surfaced. On the other hand, buy another gas can or two. You'll need it.
Baller dave2ball Posted March 7, 2012 Baller Share Posted March 7, 2012 I am on my 3rd 200 and I have not had the rope hang up on the hinges. Nor have I had any complaints at tournaments including national or Regionals. If it was a problem the factory would of changes something by now. Baller Ed_Johnson Posted March 7, 2012 Baller Share Posted March 7, 2012 CC did change the hinges on the 2011 model. They are reversed so they are level and smooth on top.
clemsondave
On the 2010, the grey was thinner than the faux teak color. I've only had the faux teak and it has never been an issue. I even tried getting it to catch but it wouldn't. In 2011, the grey was as thick as the faux teak.
