  1. @Horton No too sure if Corey’s is Nautique I believe it is. Really don’t know how many L&R events LLUSA holds. Other than of Florida and maybe LLUSA I don’t see many L&R tournaments In the south. In fairness I really have not looked too hard outside of Florida.
  2. @Horton I do t believe the TXI held her back but the lack the availability of TXI’s involvement in record tournaments. Even regionals and nationals there was only a 33% chance she drew a TXI. With the TXI out of the picture it would make more sense that both MC and nautique create one account for a new world record pay out.
  3. Contact Masterline. They will look at the grommets and make sure the handle is safe in its current condition. They will reverse the handle if requested. They have over 20 years in the business for a reason.
  4. @Broussard thanks. Did not know Correct Craft bought Indmar. @slow you were correct. I did not know. That slipped by me.
  5. @slow PCM is correct Craft. Indmar not quite sure who all is using them.
  6. @Dano the ZO question has been pretty much answered. You talked about power plants such as is PCM the best motor for that boat? Correct Craft owns Nautique, Centurion and Supreme boat companies and PCM. So it would make sense to keep use PCM as their motor of choice to keepthe money with in the corporate roof. Master Craft was all Indmar until it was sold to Penske many years ago and the motor was changed to Illmor. MC was then sold to I believe its current owner and the contract stated that Illmor was going to be the required motor. Malibu is doing their own motors as of this year I believe but in prior years they used raptors 6.2. The coordinations are going to keep as much under their control as possible meaning that they will use the motor that best fits their cost and if they can keep it with in there cooperate umbrella the better. So in their eyes the motor MFG they own is going to go into their production. Which is the best fit for the product.
  7. @Mateo_Vargaswhen did you get the new caddy? I knew you were a Joel Poland hope the wife is ok’d the plate.
  8. @jcamp that is a question for USA waterski. If you or your club opp to invest in one I would go talk with your local FD/transport agency so the unit would be compatible with their defibrillator pads. That way it is just plug and play when giving care to the FD, an added benefit is that the department may swap out defibrillator pads when close to expired date. Zoll and Physio control are the 2 EKG/defibrillator monitors used in the EMS/ FD departments
  9. @MISkier good for your ski association. I heard about Jeff. What saved his life was the observer recognized what happened and started CPR right away. Unfortunately doctors are just like any other citizen when on the streets. They have CPR knowledge but Fire/EMS work under a county medical directors license. So unless a doctor wants to take control of the incident and or scene which includes riding to the hospital in the transport unit take care the paper work they will stand out of the way.
  10. Great job for all involved. Sounds like he had zero down time which was a huge difference. Ive been a firemen for over 18 yrs plus 12 yrs as a medic 30 yrs on the streets. I’ve had my far share of codes and the only thing in common was quick CPR and an AED will make the biggest difference. More then a handful of tournaments are in the far out skirts of cities towns where EMS / fire have a long response time, it would not be a bad idea for an AED be part of the lake tournament kit. Unfortunately they are +/- 1K. But if it saves one life it was money well spent.
  11. All the brands have held a record at some a record at some point. So with all the title sponsorships going on and closed events (to other tow boats) why don’t the 3 major brands throw 25k each into a pot for a total purse of 75K. That way the skiers can do what they are paid to do and the boat does not matter. currently records set behind each brand to the best of my recollection Nautique mens and women’s trick men’s slalom men’s jump MC women’s jump malibu women's slalom
  12. The talent shows how many skiers don’t want to ski the tour or pro events or really do not have the opportunity. A lot of lower seeds who is capable of standing on the podium this year.
  13. @bojans this is true. Unfortunately Joel doesn’t have a choice being that nautique is the exclusive title sponsor. the contracts of other skiers may have special language for exclusive boat events. Back during the bud / coors light tour there were exclusions in the contracts because MC was the exclusive title sponsor and that tour was part of how the skiers made their living. I would not be surprised if Joel and MC worked out that issue prior to signing.
  14. @Cooper_Trelawney you may be correct about a couple of things. Training at Fluid would be a great option. The chances of Rini and his team switching to MC would be slim to none and the fact that Rini has a PS on his lake will not happen due to possible contract language.
  15. @swbca if you are free skiing really any rope will do. That 60.00 will work fine. I’m with @Drago I believe you are just poking the bear.
  16. @Killer handles do wear out. The type of glove will speed up that process. Kevlar gloves will tear the handle up pretty quickly. I have used ARS handles for years and the combination of spectra along with the ARS build is a handle that is just about unbeatable.
  17. @APB Joel’s contract is between him and MC. and should not even be part of this forum.
  18. Drew is correct. Great grip and easy on the hands.
  19. @ALPJr I had the first ARS back in 1990. As I worked for Mello for many years. Make by a water moccasin It is one of the best handles @Killer yes they can make it in Polly P. just have to ask.
  20. @Killer the anti roll it’s great I highly recommend it. That ML that you posed is one of the best.
  21. @chaloux a 200 is still a current design and is very popular. Great skiing boat. being 2K cheaper will allow you to repower if you choose too and it would be cheaper because it already has ZO. With a new motor and transmission if need be will give you a great boat with good wakes. Maybe a better way to go.
  22. In order for nautique MC and Malibu to offer stripped down models means the companies have to have more money tied up in inventory. Nautique chose to just offer one dash screen for both the new nautique and the current 200 because it is cost effective. MC follows the same theory from what I have seen. The big three MFG’s aren’t going g to stock a basic dash for 10 boats maybe. People don’t seem to have an issue buying a loaded or partially loaded boat. However many ski boats are built by each MFG they seem to sell them all.
  23. @chaloux if you are planning to put ZO retrofit an 07 with 2000 hrs on the motor and transmission your best course of action would be to put a new motor and trans into the boat along with ZO. @Jody_Seal would be the man for that job.
  24. The DXii is a hull from the 90’s. You can add ZO and latest motor configurations which will improve performance but the drive ability and ski ability may not be accepted by high end tournament skiers. For the recreational skiers and beginner to intermediate slalom skiers may feel this is a very viable solution for the cost of the higher end boats.
