The best app for skiing

If you ever film your skiing with an iPhone and you haven't downloaded "VideoPix", you are missing out! Not only can you slow down the rate of playback all the way to 1 frame per second, but you can also move frame by frame forward and backward. It's a great tool to really break down your skiing. And if you happen to catch a frame that makes you look like the next world champ, you can save that frame as a photo too!

 

Anyone else using other less known tools to help improve or enjoy your skiing more? Please share!

Just tried it. That is fantastic!! Did a single frame per second of a guy jumping off a cliff into a lake. Was able to stop it easily when his toes hit the water. I can see how this could be handy. Add "Camera Plus" app ( not "Camera+" ) and you can zoom in on the skier. The quality goes down a bit in zoom mode but its better then trying to analyze a vid with a tiny skier you can hardly see. Slowing down a skier that fills the screen of an iPhone.......that's a great tool.
