Best ski for a large guy

My best friend is finally leaving the wake board thing and going to slalom. The only problem is all I have is a old 67" combo set and he can only drop one, way to small for deep water start. He is 220-230 lbs and 6' tall. I am thinking a 69" or 70" ski that he can get up easily on and progress some in the sport. What are your suggestions?

Thanks guys!

69" senate non C since he is actually not THAT big I would get the cheapest senate I could find in 69 and use it for a few months till he was at 32+ mph and then get a 68", I just changed to a RS-1 and it was an easy change from the senate.

A high end 68" ski can handle 230.

I agree that the 69 Senate C is one ro look at, as it is a very stable ski capable of running shortline at 34, and can get cheap on SIA. I have not ridden a standard Senate, but assume it would be similar.

The HO S2 is supposed to be a little wider in fore body, and may be a good one to look at.

I am currently flip flopping between a 69 Senate C and 69.5 Strada with similar results. The Strada turns better when I am scrambling. I am at 250.
