Baller Dirt Posted September 27, 2012 Baller Share Posted September 27, 2012 This looks like an Eric Lee experiment.
Baller Not_The_Pug Posted September 27, 2012 Baller Share Posted September 27, 2012 The tail is too wide and it doesn't look like a "Canoe Paddle". Plus Eric doesn't like color on his skis. :)
Baller ForrestGump Posted September 28, 2012 Baller Share Posted September 28, 2012 That must be KLPs? That thing was wiiiiide. Like way wide. I never saw the bottom of it, though.
Administrators Horton Posted September 28, 2012 Administrators Share Posted September 28, 2012 @ShaneH No. I do not think so. They are not playing with tenths. More like hundredths or less. That could be the first A4 prototype. Darn R&D looks like fun. Baller Ilivetoski Posted September 28, 2012 Baller Share Posted September 28, 2012 This is like what Taylor Woosley had. She had a large cut down the middle with some black something on the bottom like on that ski. Never asked her about it but it was an A2
Baller MattP Posted September 28, 2012 Baller Share Posted September 28, 2012 @livetoski "but it was an A2 " I would say it had A2 graphic sheets on it..

Baller Steven_Haines Posted September 29, 2012 Baller Share Posted September 29, 2012 It kinda surprises me that none (?) of the HO skiers are using the EXO's. I've never used them, but they look intriguing! I see pics like this and it makes me wonder why these guys aren't using them.
Baller webbdawg99 Posted September 29, 2012 Baller Share Posted September 29, 2012 No one uses them bc there are much better systems on the market. There have been lots of durability issues with the Exos as well.
Baller Steven_Haines Posted September 29, 2012 Baller Share Posted September 29, 2012 Didn't they fix that problem with the main bar?
Baller ntx Posted September 29, 2012 Baller Share Posted September 29, 2012 My son is on them and has been for two years and loves them. They release when they should.
Baller Boody Posted September 29, 2012 Baller Share Posted September 29, 2012 @Steven Haines, I am of the opinion that products need to be proven through tournaments. If a product works, you will see it at tournaments. I also put weight on what pros or Big Dawgs use as far as equipment. I don't see the exo's, that speaks volumes to me. Baller Steven_Haines Posted September 29, 2012 Baller Share Posted September 29, 2012 Boody, I'd have to agree with your statement. You just don't see them anywhere!
Baller andjules Posted September 29, 2012 Baller Share Posted September 29, 2012 Isn't it funny, that as we're speculating on top secret, cutting edge prototypes of tomorrow's technology, we're staring at the ski in the hands of a guy who's almost 60?!? You could call it laughable, but I actually think it's one of the greatest things about slalom. It's got to be one of the only exciting, athletic, cool sports where you can be right at cutting edge @ 60.
Baller ForrestGump Posted September 30, 2012 Baller Share Posted September 30, 2012 Kris turned 60 3 weeks ago I believe. Not almost. He's there! And he still ran multiple 39s at the Big Dawg in Cypress. No wonder he's considered a legend. He and Jenifer were sitting with all of the Ballers under @Boody's tents all weekend. They were awesome to talk to. Except when he was making fun of my Exo liners which had faded to pink. Hmmmm, maybe Doane should mount them to his fruity pink strada! lol
