Baller_ RichardDoane Posted December 8, 2012 Author Baller_ Share Posted December 8, 2012 I think a poll is needed, "does your lake still have green 3 ball boat guides as a reminder of the good old days of PerfectPass ?" answers could be the obvious "yes/no", and "doesn't matter, I ski behind a ZO boat"
Baller thager Posted December 8, 2012 Baller Share Posted December 8, 2012 I still have em because I can, even with my ZO boat!

Baller ForrestGump Posted December 8, 2012 Baller Share Posted December 8, 2012 While I was out having margaritas with a gorgeous blonde, @richarddoane was spending his time finding pictures of green buoys. I win.
Baller_ Wish Posted December 8, 2012 Baller_ Share Posted December 8, 2012 @OB would it drive you nuts even more to find out I recently repainted mine......green. It's just supposed to be that way. It's Tradition!!. Like the seventh inning stretch, Stanly Cup playoff beards, rushing the field or the Gatorade bath. It's just supposed to be. ;)
Baller 6balls Posted December 8, 2012 Baller Share Posted December 8, 2012 Aw c'mon, hold onto it for us getting older and older farts. Old school like a 5 color in the mold gel-coat. Old school like the smell of two cycle oil filling the air. Old school like memories of hanging over the side of the boat clicking the stopwatch and "time ok". Old school like skiing crappy tourney sites with beach ball buoys and/or river current. Old school with boats that pasted the skier with spray at short-line (or even not that short-a-line). A lot of us earned our stripes back then, and I salute the green ball.
Baller BraceMaker Posted December 8, 2012 Baller Share Posted December 8, 2012 @6balls - nothing like skiing behind a S&S 7 years older than you are into a headwind with pellets the size of cranberries bouncing off your face.

Baller A_B Posted December 8, 2012 Baller Share Posted December 8, 2012 Do pre-gates count? I like green pre-gates. We only put green boat guides on when we lose yellow ones. Muskrats like yellow.
Baller ntx Posted December 8, 2012 Baller Share Posted December 8, 2012 I think that we need to go back to the days when we said "time ok" Or better yet, just call in the bouy count. We do have ZO now.
