  1. You can be the proud owner of a signature series custom trick ski. 43” model, includes a size 10 Radar boot. Right Front. I’m sure if you asked @eleeski he’d be glad to give you lessons at his lake as well. It will need a little bondo repair, and a fresh coat of white Krylon. Pay the shipping and buy me a beer if/when we ever get together. Send me a PM with your story of why you deserve such a priceless piece of water ski paraphernalia. Best story wins. And if there are two winning stories, I also have another w/o binder. It makes a great shelf too.
  2. know you know why they don't make a large number of 3 event boats, the profit margin just isn't the same by comparison
  3. a friend of mine sent me this picture today. Retail = $372,131. only $283,058. at the Boat show this week
  4. +1 on the "junk" comment above by @6balls I already have a project that I need to complete
  5. I thought that you'd give it to @meandhim for one of the most novel discussions so far
  6. @rawly is correct, the higher the bimini the less effective
  7. Its a piece of the rope @Horton and I used to get Dr. Jack’s Brendella to the boat ramp. You can see it all coiled up on the front of the boat in it’s previous life.
  8. As I was cleaning up my dump truck I found this piece of slalom line.
  9. Sorry for getting off topic, when I did the promo thing I tried not to sweat the small stuff and allowed shoes, knowing how easily my boat would clean up afterwards. Plus, in WA the weather can be grey/ cold even in summer and no one likes cold feet.
  10. The swim steps on those boats were not made of teak. They did not hold up well. One of my buddies had a boat very similar, add ballast and it was a good boat for wakeboarding. But after the kids grew up and scattered, he bought the 2015 CarbonPro from us in September, so now he has a great slalom boat. Used trailers are hard to find, and an adjustable galvanized tandem axle will cost you $7k.
  11. No serious progress in the last 12 months other than a better size appropriate trailer. I have the bunk conversion stuff, so that’s probably next.
  12. I plan to gel coat the floorboards of the Dr. Jack Brendella and do about the same.

  14. Decadence lets all the dirt fall right through. The textured gel coat floor of a Mastercraft eventually needs a lot of scrubbing to come clean. Back In my promo days, I would order 2 large entry floor mats from Consolidated Plastics. Then have my upholstery friend cut them to fit each side with heavy duty Velcro to attach the seam in front/back of the engine box. When they got wet and dirty after a tournament we’d just hang them over the fence and hit with the hose. Drip dry in minutes and then back in they’d go.
  15. cable shift, or electric solenoids ?
  16. We had a nice day at Hilltop on Saturday. Air 45, water 44. Very Thankful for a ski ride the day after Turkey Day. With @mikegile @Rednucleus and Bruce B who is a Lurker.
  17. @Hucklefin the green edged one is what I learned on. Now it’s your turn. The white one is an Eric Lee custom, and not for sale. I’ll need it this coming year for Regionals/Nationals.
  18. @Hucklefin pay the freight, and I'll give you a trick ski with binders. Send me a PM.
  19. As an official of the event, it becomes “Miller time” as soon as the last skier is finished, and the boats are put away. a sound system and a low key announcer is a big plus as well Someone usually has music in their phone
