Scoutdog
We got these beginner skis for our kids for Christmas and when it warmed up and we really looked at them more I noticed that one is curved up more at the tip than the other. The return period with Overton's has expired, but I might still call them and try to exchange them if I determine this is a big deal. Do you guys think this is a big deal for 46" long skis for kids up to 85 pounds? Or is this to be expected from $100 youth skis? I've attached photos that show the difference between the skis. Thanks for your input!
madcityskier
Depends how anal you are. I grew up on a set of wooden riviera's. They were different kinds of wood, with one weighing 2x more than the other. They've been repainted and are in my garage. My daughter learned on the same set. I doubt this variation would matter, but some people would be up at night worrying about quality control like that. Do what you have to do so that you won't be thinking about this every time the kid falls.
