  1. a small can lasts me at least 5-6 coats - so several years. They have 3 colors - i like the natural a little better.
  2. Teak sealer for sure! Not slippery as long as you keep it to 2 coats
  3. i would agree that it's better than the new Ski Nautique 🙂
  4. I apologize you are not getting much of a response - i don't think it's a common engine. But I do think it shares a lot in common with the Monsoon 340 used in Malibu or may be the same thing. I have emailed Indmar in the past for question like this and Larry or someone there will get back to you. https://www.indmar.com/support/customer-support/ You could also look up what the map sensor looks like for your engine and try to find that part - i think it should be close to the throttle body. also - you could check with skidim.com for some advice.
  5. I guess I'm sad that there might not be a Malibu ski boat - we just love our older LXI. I feel like the look of the TXI was fine from 2012-2016 but when they changed the look in 2017 that did it for some folks - i know one of my good ski buddies ordered a prostar instead of the TXI b/c of this. To add to this Malibu had to started messing around with engine suppliers and building there own engines.
  6. Message me on Friday. I’m out of town. I can check to see if I can find a partially working gauge you can test with. I have a box of old gauges
  7. 3rd ski of the year yesterday. Water is still about 50. Glad to be on the water again after an injury last year.
  8. same shape, just different materials - i would get whatever fits your budget if they are just a once in a while skier. If they are more serious I would probably go Carbon. just my thoughts
  9. my puck is a newer one and no issues. My friends boat who runs the same software but never updated the puck ...once in a while it will surge before locking on a pass.
  10. Vector XL BOA will fit - boa helps a lot with getting it on
  11. my son has a blue 2015 and loves it too. Well, i would pick the Omni for your mum
  12. I upgraded 2 boats to 9.3 in 2022, both have Z Box and both work great. Sunsetter LXI and Response LXI. My friend with a 90's Prostar 190 did the same install with Z Box. You might not have a good return spring situation or maybe it's just a need of the new software. If you get it just for the quick lock in and much easier to change set speed - those 2 things alone are worth it
  13. along those lines a Radar Terrain might be the ticket for 26-28 mph learning. They are cheap enough
  14. Matt, welcome to the site. I'm pretty sure Horton has hit the ramp back in the day. ☺️ I think we all have nothing but admiration for your sisters accomplishments! Horton in saying GOAT - that is an Americanized acronym for "Greatest Of All Time!" If anything he was saying she was in a league of her own and one of the top women in water sports. Cheers
