Baller A_B Posted May 11, 2013 Baller Share Posted May 11, 2013 Our positive battery clamp broke on the 2007 SN. While I was starting to take it apart, I noticed that there is a 9" red wire that is soldered into the clamp that is basically just cut and not attached to anything. I do not see any other wires that it would attach to. Is this just a dead end wire not used by Correct Craft? I would think they would have put a wire nut or tape on it, even though the wire is not exposed, it is at the end of the wire with insulation around it, but if it comes in contact with something metal, it would ground out as a short. Anyone know what this is? Can I just replace the clamp and not worry about it? Thanks
Baller ForrestGump Posted May 11, 2013 Baller Share Posted May 11, 2013 Typically, that wire has a barrel connector clamped on it as a dead end.
