Baller rodltg2 Posted July 3, 2013 Baller Share Posted July 3, 2013 Anyone know of this lake, found it while checking out google earth. Located near Tracy CA. Looks cool! http://i21.photobucket.com/albums/b265/rodltg2/eaglelake_zpsaf0d047c.jpg

Baller_ MISkier Posted July 3, 2013 Baller_ Share Posted July 3, 2013 You don't need islands with two interconnected lakes with channels on both ends. If you want to spin, you can finish a pass in one lake and "spin" by going to the other lake. Actually, that means the divider performs the function of the island. If they could figure out how to shorten the rope while moving, it would really reduce fatigue from deep water starts and put the emphasis on running passes. The worst slalom equipment I own is between my ears.
Joeprunc
I believe its apart of Eagal Lakes Resort. I met a fellow skier who is a club member there. If no one is there there is no need to spin, just turn and keep going :). Here's their website...http://www.eagallakes.com/
Baller Mateo_Vargas Posted July 3, 2013 Baller Share Posted July 3, 2013 The slalom course is on the east lake and the west lake has a bunch of wakeboard sliders but no wake enhancements allowed.
Baller usaski1 Posted July 3, 2013 Baller Share Posted July 3, 2013 I have skied it. My impressions are that it is decent, but Tracy is an awfully windy area.. It settled down near sun set. Its also short... but I'm jaded, as I have 2500 and 2700 ft out my back door. Not a bad place to ski. I might become a member there if my house ever sells... Baller eleeski Posted July 4, 2013 Baller Share Posted July 4, 2013 @rodtlg2 Actually it has an island - that I approve of! Disclaimer, one of my lakes has a similar island. Spinning circles is fun but when I'm seriously hitting the buoys, I stay in one side. Where was that site when I lived in Nocal oops Norcal? Looks pretty cool.
