Baller moski Posted September 8, 2013 Baller Share Posted September 8, 2013 What is a good pylon video camera holder? I've briefly looked at Ski-doc, Wakeye, and E-Z-Cam. My 6yr older daughter skied for the 1st time (pumping her fist and giving me thumbs up from a distance), but our footage is not good (i was holding her skies, while my wife driving and trying to film). One thing is i don't want my camera flying off this thing and end up at the bottom of the lake. My video recorder i have is: Canon Vixia HFM500 as well as my iphone5. Thanks in advance for any and all advice. moski
Baller oldjeep Posted September 8, 2013 Baller Share Posted September 8, 2013 Trakker P4 is the one that we use. Haven't had any issues with it http://www.wakevideo.com/
Baller Zman Posted September 8, 2013 Baller Share Posted September 8, 2013 For the price, I really like the e-z-cam. Contact @OB to see if he is still importing them.
Members musclefixer
ski -doc is really good with the right camera for $59 its worth it. Kodak playsport works great

Baller Waternut Posted September 8, 2013 Baller Share Posted September 8, 2013 Any of them will serve the purpose you're looking for. As long as you screw the camera in securely to the mount, you won't have to worry about your camera bouncing off. When you have to continuously change rope lengths and worry about handle pops and slack hits, that's when different mounts really start to make a difference. Baller Jibbo Posted September 9, 2013 Baller Share Posted September 9, 2013 How about Wakeye's new mini iPad version. Replay your daughters fist pump on a large screen. http://www.wakeye.com/collections/water-ski/products/wakeye-xti-pm-ipad-mini
Baller moski Posted September 9, 2013 Author Baller Share Posted September 9, 2013 MrB. i just sent you a message regarding your ezcam for sale. JMLVMI-----im going to call ski-doc and see what they have to say. Wakeye has my interest to along with Trakker p4. But for $50.00 for the ezcam is hard to pass up (seems like a good system like the others).....
